    Oh, wait till you get that first false alarm when they're not quite on the sensor pads... so bloody scary. I shook DS thinking he wasn't breathing... and he just opened his eyes and gave me a dirty look (as dirty as a 3 week old can give).

    A fan in the room or some other vibration can also stop the alarm from going off - so I found out when I forgot to turn the alarm off after getting DD out of bed and it was still happily silent when I went back to the room half an hour later Good idea to check the alarm WILL activate if on an there is no movement.
