    Toddler proof safety gate

    Hi ladies

    Our 18 month old has started climbing out of his cot so we put a gate up at his door as well as taking a panel off his cot so he is free to get in and out. (we also put a mattress down incase he falls). Only problem is that he knows how to open the safety gate. Does anyone know of a safety gate that toddlers cant open??

    I've seen the extra high gates but not sure if he could open that too by pushing and lifting at the same time (if it's he same style as ours)

    ours is an extra high one. We got it because DD is tall and we didn't want her to be able to open too early. It has a latch at the top that you have to push down and lift. It also has a lock on one side. My DS is an average sized 20monther and can't reach the top.....but I can't tell you the brand cos DH is on night shift and asleep where the gate is.
