I have the twin Maclaren (and a single Vogue) and I love them both! I couldn't find a secondhand double but found a great price at Glenhuntly baby carriage - they have an online shop too. I also have a Mountain Buggy double for hitting the street. I bought the Maclaren as the other pram didn't fit in the car. My 3.5 year old is size 4+ clothes so quite big and still fits.

Thanks, a friend suggested the Maclaren and we only want to buy 1 pram/stroller and keep our old single one for DP if he ever has 1 of the kids.

It's so hard as some of the side by sides are VERY bulky, we have to sell my car so need something to fit in a normal sedan boot. We are hoping to buy a wagon but can't guarantee it!

Ok so right now i need the good, the bad and the ugly on the:

    Babylove Tandem Lite
City Elite or City Mini Jogger
    Maclaren Stroller

Any other suggestions are great, nothing too bulky and not a phil & teds... i don't like the bub underneath on the single and the double was quite bulky width wise. IMO that is.

FWIW - Maclaren double is narrower than 2 of the singles - I could just get it in my Mazda 121 boot (was old bubble shaped model). Let me know if you want me to measure it folded.

I have made some bad purchases in the past in an effort to save $$ - the measurements are generous - so have gone to the max rather than just the frame/handles.
    W - 55cm H - 115cm D - 55cm
I found the tricky part getting the pram in the narrow boot opening, so a practice run sounds excellent. I also looked at BabyClub version - but the handling was not as good, may not be so important with a slighter toddler. Happy shopping!

Have you seen the Strider Plus? A good 2 child pram alternative to P&Ts
