Walking Pram for newbie & 3.5yr old

Its so not like me to ask pram questions lol :P

I have the Bugaboo Donkey for an everyday pram and also bought a secondhand Strider plus to walk with but am second quessing it, I have been offered the swap of a Mountain Buggy Urban Double which im considering but then its always a double pram...

Ill be walking nightly to loose 40 kilos so need something easy, will also be walking to and from bus stop to get girls morning and night, this is only about 1km but its up a huuge hill so again need something easy.

    Suggestions?

Definitely go the MB. I have a single and it is an awesome walking pram. When I got a double when DD2 was born I didn't go the double because I wanted two - one for the car and one for walking and I just couldn't justify the then enormous purchase price of the double MB. I ended up getting a double valco, which is a fantastic walking pram too - I still use it occasionally for my 4 and 5 year olds.

If you have the donkey so aren't thinking of having to get a big heavy double in and out of the car then go for it. Nothing beats them for ease for you and comfort for the kidlets - decent sized seats so your 3.5 yr old will be comfy, individually adjustable etc and the ride is lovely and smooth. I also find the weight of the double is nowhere near as much of an issue pushing as I thought it might be.

I don't have a strider to compare to but I have a MB double. I've never had a double before (was dead against them actually), but it was given to me. It just lives out the back (never put down) and I only use it to walk with. Made my life sooo much easier. Steers well and is light enough. I push a freshie and a 3.5yo as well. DS entertains DD2 (since she's right there with him and all is good. Only prob I find is the sunshade is pittance. I live in the desert so the sunshade is important lol.

I got a second hand phil and teds sport as my double so I could go walking. I have a 3 year olds and a 5 month old - I have a strider that we got for ds and I loved it but I find the p and t even easier for walking.

I also like that I can take a seat off and use it as a single if I want to as well.

My kids are 5 and a bit and nearly 4 (old enough to know better and should be walking)and we used our P&T the other day while shopping! Tight squeeze for DS but he was happy enough in there! Loved it since the day we got it!
