I've bought the Maxi Cosi which is the best (ideal actually) fit for it. It clips straight into the adapters, no extra bars and no extra clips or straps required which is the case with other capsules on BJ prams. I'm yet to use my capsule though but everyone I've spoken to raves about them though. I have played with it a bit though, connecting it to my City Elite (I've only just ordered my Select) and it's super easy to connect.

I'm think the Maxi Cosi is only up to 9kg though.

Hmmmm.... DS2 is 5.6kg already, so I don't know if I could justify the Maxi Cosi (even though we are planning on more children, God willing, these things don't always happen to plan). Thanks though! I had read that the others were a pain to fit.

    So I would need:
    The pram itself
Second seat and second seat adaptors (for when DS2 grows out of car seat)
    Car seat
    Car seat adaptors too

Is that right? Can I ask where you got your city select from?

I have a bugaboo bee as my single pram (which I LOVE!) and so I'm off to google if a maxicosi can clip into it.

We have the Unity for that very reason. DD is already 7kgs and it goes up to 12. The first time you fit it, it is a bit awkward, but once you get the hang of it I think it is worth it, given that they will be able to stay in it longer. Having said all of that, I know a couple of people that moved their bubs straight into the pram seat at around 4 months (in the fully reclined position). I know they say not to, but I have seen young bubs in the seat and it looks fine to me. You are welcome to come and check out how it all works. I can give you a demo haha!
