Those combo's sound great boomba! I agree about the lack of availability - and the overall wait for the Bugaboo itself!

I just purchased another topping for my Buagboo which is the canvas in chocolate brown. I think it will look great with my sand base. I'm with you on buying the pink if we ever have a girl too! Tempted to buy the red as well.... ohh there are so many choices! This pram is going to send me broke!

I have ordered the Charcoal Base with the Red Topper all in Canvas, I have also ordered the Breezy in Red along with the Footmuff in Red - I love Red and thought it was going to be pretty neutral!! DH loves the red too! I also have ordered the cup holder and UV Shade, which covers everything really!!

I hear you about the delays, I ordered mine at the end of February and when I went in to make another payment I nearly had a fit when they said 5-6months, I was like "Nooooo!!!" But eventually - well a week late I got confirmation that mine was ordered before the end of february and it should arrive at the end of April, I wasn't going to be waiting until September, as our little Bean would have well and truely been here!!

We are sooo excited about our Buga!!!

When we were going to get one I wanted a Charcoal base with Off White Canvas topping. We got a Quinny Buzz in Midnight instead.

My only concern with the light bases (ie, Sand) is that they get dirty when bubs is bigger and grubbier. Charcoal would be easier to keep clean IMO.

Our Bug has a charcoal base with a red canvas topping, it's really striking and I love it.

I also bought a red footmuff for when Baxter is a bit older and makes it into the chair. Plus I bought a cup holder at a DJ's sale. We got 10% off our Bug at Babyland in Perth which makes a real difference to the price.

I hear you with the discount making it more worthwhile Shogal - Buga is not cheap! I got 10% off, plus a $160 voucher to spend instore - it was a deal being offered by Kid Central, but I wanted to get it closer to home and tried Baby Central, Magill Road (South Australia), so my $310 saving basically paid for the extras! I was soo angry when DJ's bumped their price up to $1779, they would have matched the discounted price but not the voucher, so they missed out on my sale!!

The lady in the baby shop keeps asking me if I'm sure about the colour combo I have picked. I really didn't want to have a dark pram - hence choosing the sand base with the sand topping. I still haven't seen it as it hasn't come in - but I'm sure it's what I want.

Do you reckon having two of the same colours will still look good? I also have a chocolate brown topping and plan on buying red and either pink or blue.

I saw a denim bug at the shops the other day - loved that too!

I think it will look great if thats what you want! The shop lady is not the one who will be pushing their child proudly in it!
The only thing is when bubs gets a bit older it may get extremely dirty? But I am sure a wipe would fix it!

Love the sound of sand and chocolate!

Denim came out a couple of weeks after we got ours and i wanted to swap Have been thinking of maybe just getting the topping part?
