What Does Everyone Think About Baby Wipes??

Kelly, that sounds right..... trust me to choose the worst product on the market :-(
Might have to investigate some better alternatives.
Oh, I just remembered, I used and liked the Curash ones for a while when DD had a really nasty nappy rash. It was the only rash she ever had, but took forever to clear up. And that's although I was using cloth nappies and only water and cloth wipes at the time. I then used sposies for a while to keep her dry (still used cloth wipes, though) and a friend's chemist's miracle cream and it finally went away. But I think she was teething something shocking at the time, too and it would have most likely cleared up even if I had continued with cloth nappies.

They just have loads of money and effective marketing and for some reason land themselves in many maternity hospitals who should be more proactive about this stuff, but money talks.... they do loads of branding and own one of the big parenting sites too. Clever these people with money

No to baby wipes. I used baby wipes up to when DD was 4 weeks. But within 4 weeks old she started having nappy rash. I stopped using it and cleaned her with water at all times, her nappy rash went away. I started using the wipes again, within a couple of days, nappy rash. After that, I have stayed away from baby wipes unless we are going out. I don't think its fair. Water is better.

Oh, I will never use wipes again unless for emergency cases, for example, when away from home. Sometimes I still prefer to use water to clean her even if we go out.
