Junglemum - totally doing cloth! I just don't trust the mortals to be able to get it right, so am taking responsibility for my own stash! These aren't the kind of people I know well enough to be able to ask for specifics, and there are a couple of cloth-haters among them.
meow - do you buy anything through EEEC? They have some gorgeous stuff, often Steiner inspired. (gotta love hijacking own thread into shop-talk!)
I haven't bought anything through eeec though I keep meaning too. I worked somewhere where our director was the secretary for eeec and we had all their things. The knitted blocks are gorgeous!
ETA: has anyone suggested an ABA membership? It's a great pressie. Also a subscription to Barefoot magazine.
Oh, i misread your post! I thought you meant it was too hard! If that is the case, you could ask for gift vouchers for particular on-line nappy shop/s you like, a wetbag? cloth wipes? can't muck those up too easily?! What about a nappy bucket?
