Hi,

My DD is 3mths old and is always getting out of her 'miracle blanket' wrap even though it has the arm and legs pockets she still gets out of it when we wrap her up tightly!! We come in, in the morning and she's lying there with her arms and legs out and she wakes up then cos' she's cold!!!

We have ordered a Grobag (size 6-18mths)... my question is.... would she be able to wear it now even though its for older infants? Or is she still too little for this size? She is only petite but she's tall for her age. We didnt' want to buy the 0-6mth grobag because she will outgrow it way too soon and they are quite expensive!

We are thinking about not swaddling/wrapping her soon... do we slowly wean her off the wrapping? Just wrap her body but no arms etc for a bit first? or just go cold turkey and straight to the grobag?? I'm not sure... I have heard most people wrap their babies until they are 4-6mths old? She still has the startle reflex.

Also, can you buy something similar to grobag at Kmart/Target etc that will get her by until she fits her 6-18mth grobag size?
