Ren I used the hammock for the first few weeks and it has been wonderful. About 3 weeks ago I put him in the cot for play time with the mobile on and to get him used to it and he fell asleep so I have been putting him in there for day sleeps and he loves it. Still sleeps 12 hours overnight in the hammock. See how you go but I would give it a few weeks first to settle bub in and then look at moving them.
