Dd was 27 months when ds was born and I lasted one day without a double pram and went straight on eBay and bought a BJ city double mini. It changed everything. Even now at 4.5 and 2 we still use it. I have travelled through the US with it too. It gives you such a good peace of mind when they are both secure and safe and you can walk and shop etc. both mind sleep in it still and we take it to go out to dinner. A must have.
Eta I live inner city and so I walk and tram everywhere. I also have a dd who doesn't like walking. Even for six months it's worth it if you walk a lot. I am a big baby wearer, but chasing a toddler while baby wearing is a whole new ball game.
