2 lines but very far apart

I am posting this for a friend

She POAS this morning and got 2 clear lines, but they are very far apart. When she told me I thought "2 lines are 2 lines, it's a BFP". But then I saw the test and I have never seen a BFP with lines so far apart. The left line (the one that would normally indicate a pregnancy) is only a few mm's from the edge of the reactive strip. Therefore I am turning it over to the experts on BB. Are the lines always a regular amount apart, or can they vary?

The tests were bought on ebay in a bulk lot, if that makes any difference.

    Thanks

hmmm its a hard one... could it be a dodgy test? I would think 2 lines mean 2 lines, no matter where it is. Can she do another?

I think that even in the making of the test the strip that reacts to a positive might have got a bit misplaced. But no matter where it is it would still need a pregnant women to pee on it for it to go pink. I would say positive and run out and grab a FR test or something too.

What brand of test is it?
The Internet tests I have also do this, but after about 10 minutes.

I'm really unsure especially without seeing it. I would suggest do a 1st response. They are the most accurate I know of and I have never seen them with evap lines. They also show up BFP's pretty early.

    Question Thanks 4 the replies

Mizqtie: Really! Thats what this test is promising (10ml) but I have my doubts I think its dodgy... its probably the same brand as yours!

Jakabella: How do I upload a photo?

Anyway I am going to get one from the supermarket tomorrow. My cycle is 28-29 days but usually 28... I am on CD 25 - 11 DPO. What brand should I get? Should I wait till AF is due?

    Thanks for all your replies

Should I wait till AF is due (3 days) or test now? AF feels like its coming but it is different & I usually spot 2-3 days before... Hmm... don't know what to think?...

Personally I wouldnt be able to (wait that is). I got good positives with them brands on 10, 11 and 12 DPO. Feeling like AF is coming is a good sign that a BFP is coming You can upload a pic by uploading it to your photobucket and posting the link in here or uploading it to your bellybelly album and posting the link in here
