They are not very sensitive at the drs. Just hold out a few more days and go to another dr fir blood test request.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I'm 12dpo got 2 BFP on first response then 1 on clear blue digital. I went to doctor (same surgery different doctor to normal). He refused to give me blood request as he made me do a urine test and it was a BFN. It was 3pm, I had just been to toilet while waiting. AF is due Sunday and I only tested early as I started nausea and vomiting, boobs are really sore and my tummy "feels" pregnant.

Thanks Joeve, I just needed reassurance as I really didn't think these symptoms were in my head.
I done about 35HPTs last pregnancy, all different brands, all of them positive. The drs came up negative, the blood test came back negative too! had a happy little girl 9mths later. <3
That's the greatest happy ending Misty! Although would have been so stressful at the time.
Don't stress. If i got 3 BFPs, i would know i was pregnant. No need to get a dr to confirm it.
Congrats!
I had the same thing happen, home HPT's all positive, the Dr's was negative. He told me to come back in a week's time and as I stood up to leave we noticed a BFP finally appeared on the Dr's test - their tests must be much less sensitive. I went on to have a healthy baby boy (DS2)![]()
Lol this always happens you think the drs would get better tests
Dr's buy cheap, less sensitive tests. I would not worry about the result at the GP... but I would find a new, more sensitive doctor!! Congratulations on your pregnancy, hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months!
Thanks ladies, feeling a lot more positive now.
same thing happend with Vic. 3 +ive's at home (with the clear blue line ones; albeit faint lines) and a BFN at the Dr's Dr wasnt going to give me a blood test and i told him i wanted to know if i was because of xyz (some made up reason) and he gave me one and lo and behold i was :eyeroll: and vics now two and half.
Yes this also happened to me. Multiple positives at home and a negative at the doctors. Luckily he still have me the bt.
Huntermum how frustrating! I'd bring in those BFPs and show them! Or go to someone else who can confirm, if you are too impatient to wait a bit longer.
Oh thanks for the support, I did a FR test this morning, another BFP! Will do the other clear blue digital on Monday. I just wanted to get official confirmation as I'm heading to Qld for couple weeks and by time I get back I'll be about 7-8wks so was hoping to start looking at Obs as I have heard here book out early?
I don't get why you don't trust your symptoms and the tests you have done, and want some random to confirm there are 2 lines on their pee stick.
Nothing to stop you looking for your health care provider.
I've always just booked in with my OB and then taken the referral along to the first appt (or sent it ahead of time). But it may be different between different OBs.
