3 days late, neg test, but cervix high and closed.
Hi, Im new to this post thing, but always find myself searching for info on them!
Im one crazy lady desperately trying for our third baby. We started in aug, fell pregnant first mth (so shocked, but thrilled!) then unfortunately lost baby just over 5 weeks, docs say it may have been a chemical??? pregnancy. Anyway, took 5 weeks for my period to return after the heavy bleed from loss (awful) and nothing....hoped to fall pregnant straight way, but not for me. We are currently waiting on my period for our third mth trying, now 3 days late and sore boobs, tired, etc. I sometimes think its all in my head though.
So I did a test this morning, first response, and came out neg...so sad, so disappointed!
Then I jump on this sight and did a search for cervical postioning in early pregnancy because i felt mine this morn and it was very high and tightly closed!!!! got a little excited even though id had a neg, because its ALWAYS low and soft! The last time i felt it high i was pregnant with my last child.
anyway, any advice or opinions??? Im going to re-test if my period doesnt come on sat morn.
I always get a positive before AF is even due, always.....but this time, when around 4-5 days late, I got a negative...... tested again at just over 5 weeks, and got a positive!! So it can happen ...
Just keep testing with first morning urine babe... fingers crossed for you....
well, bad news, after searching all morning for something good....I got my period
Im annoyed! I just want it to happen already, especially after our loss first mth trying. anyway, Ive had my cry, now solider on... hopefully next mth. I really wanted to be pregnant before Christmas!

Hi Lozzy, I was reading your posts and I am going through the same thing right now. I also miscarried at about 5 wks in August. Have been trying since to conceive but nothing. I am 2 days late with very mild cramping, nothing like a regular period. I just don't want to test and find a BFN. (have gone through that every month since the miscarriage) My cervix is very high, soft and wet. TMI sorry. I have been on a very regular 30 cycle and my cervix is always low and hard right before AF. I will get a test today and just go for it I think. Baby dust to you..best wishes and keep us posted
