    Any ideas?

To cut a long story short I have been TTC for well over 5 1/2 yrs.
Each month after I O, I have sore bb's for a week before AF shows and cramps nearly every day. This month I only had one day of cramps and that was 9 DPO and no sore bb's. I (TMI) have lots of creamy cm, so much so that I run to the loo thinking that AF has shown. I did a HPT yesterday BFN and another one this am with FMU - BFN both using pregnow tests off the internet. They claim that you can test 3 days before AF is due. I am now on CD34

This is doing my head in! Has anyone else used pregnow tests and got a BFP, or am I just being silly. This is the first time I haven't had a single symptom and I was hoping that this was the month.

By the way I definately know that I o'd

    Hi Ann,

Any progress? Did AF arrived? Was the lots of creamy cm a good sign?

I am asking because I am experiencing something similar this cycle. I am only CD27 of a 30 day cycle but like you, not too much in way of the symptoms which I usually get.

    Hi Ann

A lot of the advise I've read on here and other sites say that you should wait until AF is due before testing and as a rule of thumb, I would say that is sound advice. I know however, how much of a nightmare the TWW is and I have every sympathy with you.

I don't want to pry but I'm assuming that both you and your partner have been checked out to make sure there is nothing else stopping you from getting pregnant i.e. low sperm count, blocked tubes etc. (Sorry if I'm stating the obvious)

To get as an accurate reading as possible I used clear blue digital OKP to determine OD. I know they're are expensive but it might be worth the investment if it gets the result you want.

In respect of HPTs, my understanding is that a lot of the HPT tests you buy only detect 25 miu or over and more often nearer 50 miu which could mean that you could be preggers and it is just too early to tell.

I bought 10 HPT tests from a site called babymad.com which claim to be 99.99% accurate and detect from as little as 10 miu as they are ultra early pregnancy tests. They only cost around £5 which is around $12-15AUD for the lot and they showed BFP around 8DPO for me. Because I couldn't believe it and because I'd never heard of the site before I followed this up with a First Response test which claims to be able to detect pregnancy upto 4 days before AF is due, I did this around 6 days prior to AF and that came back positive too.

It may be that the tests you've done are not sensitive enough, so check level of miu. Of course it is still early so that could also have a lot to do with it.

As for signs of pregnancy, I'm sure you kno w and no doubt read a million threads that talk about the different sign or even total lack of signs particularly in early pregnancy. For me I was very bloated, gassy and had cramps from 3 days after BD and that has continued. Starting to pee a lot more but other then that and feeling a little more tired/sluggish, I haven't really had any signs.

I hope my two pennies worth helps you babe. I've got my fingers crossed for you and hope that you get a BFP. Keep us posted.

    -x-

That is a long cycle without, Ann! Have you tested again? How long are your cycles normally? Do you chart your temperatures? How many DPO do you think you are now? You must feel pretty frustrated. *Hugs*

CD 49 and still no AF!

My longest cycle I have ever had was 41 days. With that cycle I had a BFP
(9/2/2006) on day 28, but sadly had a MC.

So I don't know what is happening with my body. I have stopped temping a few months ago as I thought it was just placing too much stress on myself. I solely go on other signs for the big "O", which up to now has been spot on.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Ann. How long ago was your m/c? Would that be affecting your cycle? If you've just done an HPT and it's still negative, I'd be thinking you should probably pop into see your GP for a check up. Hope you're okay, all is well and that the only reason AF is staying away is because you're UTD!

Ann I agree with kerry. Maybe a quick visit to your GP for a bt might be a good idea

Well, can't get in to see the Dr for a week, and my appointment time is during working hours, so hopfully I can get away for the appointment or otherwise I'll have to cancel and make another one
CD 50 and still counting. The only other thing I can add is that I have been extremely hungry for the last two days. I mean hungry. I am only a slight person anyway (50kg), but atm I seem like I cant get enough food, and if I don't eat when I'm hungry I start to feel sick. Also I have been having some mild cramping low in the abdomen, not all the way across like AF cramps but more centralised. Not for one moment am I thinking that possibly I could be pg ( after what we have been through) I couldn't be that lucky.

ps I don't have any more HPT's in the house which is probably a good thing!

Don't fret too much Ann. I have never gotten a bfp from a hpt, even when I was pg (unfortunately I m/c at 5 and 1/2 weeks). I have read that for some women they just don't secrete enough of the pg hormone in their urine to be detected by a hpt.

    Good luck
