Anyone get a false positive with First Response?

As per the title

Have had three positive tests with this - and one and a half with clear blue, but I have heard the blue ink are often unreliable. First positive test was 1 day after period due.

Have started spotting today though (granted I have done this with previous pregnancies) and the result today (3-4 days past period due) was fainter than a couple of days ago. Still nauseous, sore boobs etc.

So given the spotting and the fainter line I am thinking I am either miscarrying or was never pregnant and period just late and unlucky enough to get a whole bunch of false positives.

I should add that while the timing of the DTD was spot on, the chances of us falling naturally are apparently very low.

Any thoughts or comments are most appreciated

No. any time I got a positive, it was truly positive. spotting could be implantation, or perhaps a chemical preg. False positives are rare, so I think congratulations are in order if you've got 3!

Yeah I had read that a positive is a positive but it just seems so unbelievable! Unfortunately I think given the spotting is quite heavy it is probably chemical but was nice to know we could get to this point

I had 3 positive's very convincing on FR and also on a confirm. Blood test the day I did 2 FR and the confirm showed a HCG less then 2.

Definitely not. They're my go-to for reliability. Showed up my first pregnancy at 10dpo, and second at 11dpo.

The only time I ever got a "false" positive was with that dodgy brand renowned for being wrong, and it turned out I actually was pregnant anyway.

Yep both me and a friend have had false positives using FR. This was about 2 years ago however.
