I have always used bulk cheapy ones (10 for $1!) from a site that ships from China (all the instructions are in Chinese) and they always gave me an earlier BFP than any I have bought from chemists here. Very reliable.

I was about to start the same thread! I have been testing with internet cheapies for a week & been getting BFN's but feel so pregnant! I don't know all the lingo but we DTD 23/10/10 so is that too early to pick up an early result?

    When did u ovulate Strawberries??
I really have no idea but I have this feeling it's a week before I get AF. When I was trying to conceive DD I didn't do charting or anything like that but I went by the rule you ovulate in the middle of your cycle & I didn't get pregnant when I did it dead spot on in the middle. Then I feel pregnant with DD when we DTD a week out from when I was supposed to ovulate by my knowledge & my dates were a week behind that derived from the last menstral period. So I assume I ovulate a week later. My sister says she's the same. Is this even a possibility? The first date of my last menstral period was Sept 28.

Sorry I have hijacked your thread now.

Mum2Romone - I used the really cheap eBay ones for a while (the $3.50 with free postage ones) but got a lot of false positives with them and only 2 very faint positives with my 2 m/c's this year.

Myself, I prefer FR tests - they may cost a bit, but if you can wait until approx 15DPO to test then it is definately worth it.

With my current bub to be they picked up a HCG level of 29 at 15DPO with a REALLY strong line

    HTH's.

Strawberries&cream - I'm not sure about your luteal phase, while it is possible, the only way to really know for sure is to undergo progesterone tests. Ask your doctor about it, and if your doctor isn't concerned, get a second opinion, and third opinion etc until you find a doctor who listens.

It took me 4 years to find a doctor who actually took me seriously when I said there wasn't something right about me losing so many babies.

    HTH's too.
