BFP or not BFP...that is the question!!

Hello ladies! There is always hot debate over how early a HPT can pick up a BFP...so my question is: what is the earliest you/or someone you know has had a HPT pick up a BFP?? I have heard of seven DPO, any earlier?

nahh i think its 9dpo i have heard is the earliest

I got mine, being the faintest of faintest lines on an internet cheapy at 8DPO(at night) and good strong line on first response on 9DPO(in afternoon)!! I have no doubt the first respone would have shown quite well at 8DPO if i had of had one!! And i know those dates are spot on as well!

Faint but clear HPT at 10DPO (First Response Early Response kit, but I dipped it in the sample instead of peeing on it), got darker at 12, and then 14. And I was pregnant, got the monkey to prove it lOL!

I've heard of it at 7DPO but that's when they had miscalculated their days, and another person at 8DPO carrying twins... AFM, I tested at 7DPO because I had the worlds worst stomach ache (turns out that was implantation day) and didn't have the guts to test again until 11DPO and even then that was faint

I have seen (on another forum) just recently one at 7DPO, and this girl knew her cycles (thus, eliminating the chance of perhaps being a couple of days 'off')!

It was only a very very feint line, but a line none the less.

I've had a few BFP's at 9dpo - feint but definitely there.

i dont know what DPO means
But i can tell you i did a HPT (cant remember the brand sorry) 5 days before my period was due and there was a faint line. went to the docs that afternoon and did a test there and no line came up but he still sent me to get a blood test based on the pg test i did that morning. Sure enough, i was pregnant

Thats right... days past ovulation

With DS I got a positive HPT at 9DPO
(DD was a surprise from an overseas holiday, I tested with different brands while in France & Italy & they all came up strong... have no idea the DPO's for them though!!!)

Thanks for replying everyone!! I didn't get my BFP till 20 DPO!!! But, i guess it doesn't matter when you get it, as long as it BFP!!
