Go and get another hpt
Bf doesn't have anything to do with hcg. I'm always telling ppl to use the digital tests, they remove the guesswork! Now off you go hehe, get off BB and run to the shops, poas and then come back and tell us
Like the other girls have said, hcg has nothing to do with breastfeeding. I'd be running out and getting another hpt as well. Actually, knowing me I'd probably grab a digital hpt as well as the "normal" type, lol, but I'm a serial poas-er hahaha!
My 9 1/2 month old DD is still demand breastfed at least 3 hourly during the day (and hourly overnight at the moment *sigh*) and I'm also still brastfeeding my 2 1/2 year old DS once or twice a day. When DD was 7 months old I had that funny feeling in my belly that is similar to when you are about to get your period. Then my period never came. Then I started feeling nauseous, but my DSS had had gastro a few days before, so obviously he must have given a bit to me right? Lol, a few days later and I was still feeling ill, so DH suggested a pregnancy test. We both laughed because it was so unlikely (I had been ill with 3 different bugs, so we'd only dtd once recently and I hadn't even had one period since having DD). Two days after that and I was still ill, so a hpt was done. The test line came up twice as dark as the control line, lol! We hadn't planned on any more kids (DH didn't want more, but I was like you and would have liked another) so you can imagine the shocked, nervous laughter that followed the revealing of the hpt lines
I would think that if you have had nausea for around 2 weeks then taking a hpt now, it would be pretty strong. Im guessing by the blue line that you used a crystal clear? They are known for their evap lines and false positives.
I went through something very similar when DD2 was 4 months old. I even did a thread because I thought I might have been UTD. I was getting waves of nausea and so many other symptoms that I thought I may have been pregnant. My doctor said pretty much the same thing as your doctor. I was just my cycle trying to start. Sure enough 5 weeks later I got my period. I did not POAS though because DH was away and I could not do it without him been here so I just sat in limbo land.
