Could this be BFP? Caused by cyst? Pic inc.

Hi, So I have been having horrible pains in both my ovaries for about 4 days now. I usually get pre AF pains but not this bad. AF is due today also.
I did a test yesterday at lunch time and that was a BFN the today at about the same I did a test and BFP popped up faintly. I then tested about 2 hrs later and another faint line appeared.

Is there a chance it could be caused by a cyst? Or is it usual for a test to come up positive around 24 hrs after a BFN.

I am so confused and in a bit of pain so any help would be appreciated.

I tested the day of my AF with this baby and got a very definite BFN, i had a spare test and decided to test the next day and got a very strong BFP!! I was so shocked and surprised. I went out and peed on about 3 different brands to make sure i was infact UTD

Looks like a BFP. I havent heard of cysts causing false positives, but I do know it is possible to get a BFP within 24 hrs of a negative one. So, I say congratulations!

That is no faint line. Congratulations. I would say that if your still in a lot of pain then you might want to get checked out. It might not even be pregnancy related.

Congratulations Definately BFP I had a BFN the day before AF was due and then a BFP the next day..

Congratulations! Only a pregnancy produces hcg which is the hormone tested for in home pregnancy tests, so a cyst would not cause a positive result. It's definitely possible to get a negative one day and a nice positive the next. You might as well go to the doctors asap and get the pain checked though as you are probably going to go to the doctors sometimes soon anyway to get a referral to an Obstetrician or organise what sort of pregnancy care you are going to get

I tested 12dpo and my first test was just slightly darker than yours!! MASSIVE congratulations I think are in order!!!! and we used the same test too....

Oh gosh, now I am getting a bit excited. I don't want to get too excited until I go to the doctor and get the all clear as it is only very early days.

Just showed DH and he keeps saying that he can't really see anything. So now every time I look at it, it looks like it is getting fainter.
