    hi ladies,

i had a pre-conception test on CD 21, got my results today & my progesterone was 4.3... dr said i haven't ovulated this month. i have felt definite O pain/twinges (this was 1 day after my blood was taken though....?)

do these OPKs look positive to you?? cause they do to me... i just feel shattered bottom one from today (obviously negative)

Top two yes, though it is harder to tell accurately once the ink has dried and faded as IMO the test lines always darken further then. It is rare but you can get a positive opk and still not ovulate as the positive indicates your lutenising hormone is surging, which it needs to do just prior to ovulation, but it is not an indicator that ovulation will definitely happen, just that the body is preparing for it to happen imminently. But you can have the surge and still not ovulate for a variety of reasons.

What LL says is true. A surge indicated by a positive opk doesn't guarantee ovulation. The blood test would be correct.

    Better luck next month.
