E-Bay HPT Tests - Faint line or Evap?

Hi all, I've been using HPT tests bought from Inpregnancy, and I've done 3 in the last 3 days that have come up with a faint purple line just prior to the 10 min mark.

Last Cycle I used them and got a BFP at 13dpo, followed by a BFN at 14dpo & 15dpo, AF arrived late on the night of 15dpo, so I believe I had a chemical pregnancy.

I have never had evap lines on them previously, so I was just wondering if anyone else who has used the tests from Inpregnancy has had a faint line come up around the 10 min mark and if it was evap or BFP?

I spent half of last night in Emergency as the cramping I've been having for 23 out of 27 days this cycle got really really bad and the headache I've had for the past 4 days got worse too. They did a bHCG test which came back negative. I'm 11dpo today and my temp has dropped down to 36.5, which is odd for this early before AF, it normally doesn't drop until approximately 13dpo.

So had anyone ever had this happen with ebay HPT's and had a negative blood test?
    Thanks.

The ebay tests I use are notorious for evap lines. Some of mine have even come up before the control line. To be honest if squinting and holding it up to the light I think I can always see a second line. They are pregnow ones I think. Now I am so use to knowing whats an evap line and whats not. The BFP's on them do get darker as the days go by. The more concentrated the urine is the worse the evap line seems to be. Well thats just me. I use them as I am a serial POASer and can't afford to use more expensive brands as its coming up 2yrs ttc. When I think it might be a BFP I use another brand. Half the time they have confirmed it was a BFP and the other half I have been disappointed and its been a BFN. I am about to test in a few days I can probably post a picture of my evap line (I am sure I'll get one) and I am sure it wont be a BFP.
Did the hospital tyell you it was negative or give you a number? If its between 5-25 they will still say its negative and at 11DPO it would probably not be over 25 yet. Good luck hope it was just to early for the BT to confirm a pregnancy.

Thanks Emmy, They just told me it was a neg, which last time they did one after a midcycle bleed that felt like a mc it was under 2.

I just did another test with 2nd mu, and it came up with a super faint line like whats on the others at just after the 5 min mark, so I don't know what to think atm. I'm hoping that the drop in temp was implantation, but it's so hard to stay positive atm, all I want to do is cry. And I still have all the symptoms, thought the cramping seems to have eased off and I haven't needed to take any pain relief yet today.

It can't be normal to have so many cycles without these symptoms and then suddenly have one with everything under the sun that points to pregnancy only to have a negative blood test can it?

Hey Jenna - are you able to grab a Clear Blue or something similar to test with. These apparantly are much better than the 'cheapies' and it might put your mind to rest.

I use the Lullaby Conception ones - they are cheapies but have been accurate for me.

Good luck - and crossing fingers for you.

sarahrach - I have one first response test left, but I'm saving it for monday, the day that AF is due. I did one yesterday, and thought I could see a super faint line on it around the 10 min mark, but it could have been an evap.
No money left until tuesday to buy any more either, so I just have to wait.
