early positive on HPT

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone out there has had a positive pregnancy test less than 4 weeks after conception before? I have tested positive, but the ultrasound only found thickening of the endometrium and no egg sack, suggesting that it could be too early to tell (in which case I'm 4 weeks and not 6 weeks pregnant like I thought), or it's ectopic.

Any advice????

yes- my date of conception was about 5th Jan and i did the test on 2nd Feb and it was positive. i then had the ultrasound about a week and a half later i think. are you going for another ultrasound?

Yes, but not for another week or so...hCG levels are rising, but still on the low side. Fingers crossed it's not ectopic!!!!

Yep definitely. I BD (sorry for TMI) on 6th July following positive OKP on 5th July and tested positive on (v v v faint pink link on the following thursday) which was only 8-9 days after BD!!! I couldn't believe it, still testing positive and confirmed by doc too. Waiting for my first scan so defo posssible. I wouldn't worry at the mo, bub is probably so tweeny weeny that they can't see him/her yet

Yes I tested positive with Toby at 11dpo - we did the deed on ovulation day so that was 11 days. It was faint, but definitely positive.
