All I can find about the jelly like stuff is that perhaps it was the plug forming.
    How are you doing today?

I would go back to the GP and ask for another blood test and an ultrasound to see whats going on. If its going to be a long wait ask them if they can squeeze you in. They usually keep a couple of appointments free for emergencies.

Im sorry its been such a drawn out process. Limbo sucks

Yes definitely test again. There are 2 types of blood tests a Dr can order. 1 will only give a positive result if it's above 25 so your level could be above 5 (not pregnant is less then 5) but under 25 and the results would be negative. Not wanting to scare you but an ectopic pregnancy can have very slow rising Hc. I'm sorry you still don't have any answers

I've made another doctors appointment for Thursday and ill ask for more blood tests and a scan.

They did both types of blood test, however when I called for the results, they didn't give me my hcg levels. Will check that when I go back.

    Hi ladies,

Still no AF. Have been to the doctor this afternoon. He told me my HCG level last week in my blood test was 2. I've had more blood tests and I'm going for a scan on Monday. He thinks it might be polycystic ovaries.

have you had a pap smear in the very recent past? my friend had a very similar thing happen, she was getting positive preg tests, neg blood tests and she the had a pap smear and they found pre-cancerous cells. I don't want to alarm you in any way, but I have never heard of false positive tests before except in my friends case.

fingers crossed they find the reason why all this is happening

    Thanks girls

I call in an hour and see if the results are in. It's been a long day!

DH was furious to begin with, then was happy and now is hoping the blood test comes back positive! What a rollercoaster!

Here's hoping I'm back later with good news!
Maybe, if nothing else, this is making your DH rethink his stance on no more children. When it all settles down, you should sit down with him and explain just how much this has made you realise you want another baby. If that's how you feel. So sorry your hopes were dashed so quickly. That sucks.

Quick update - I've got all my results back. It seems I'm perfectly healthy. Everything on the scan and blood tests was normal. The doctor seems to think I have sleep ovaries and am not ovulating. Still doesn't explain the BFPs, but after going through all this, I think DH may have changed his mind about more children!

False positives are extremely rare. I would think its unlikely if you got more than one. Especially from different batches.

The doctor at the hospital tried to tell me I was never pregnant. 2 positives from 2 different batches 4 days apart is very very unlikely imo. Not to mentiom all my symptoms.
Dont let them invalidate your experience if it doesnt suit you. (It really hurt me to be told my miracle never existed.) If you believe in your heart you were pregnant then you were. Pregnancy is so much more than physical. It is hopes, dreams, promises, love. No disbelieving doctor can take that away from you.

Of course if you think they may be right, then that is fine too. Whatever you believe is what matters.

I hope you can have a talk with your DH and come to an agreement.
