False Hpt on IVF with pregnyl any chance still???

Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has any advise on this subject....
I'm doing my first IVF/ICSI and did a clear blue didgital hpt on day my AF was due and it came up neg, I was due for AF on monday but still hasn't arrived. Now its wednesday.
I was wondering if anyone has been through this who also got a negative and still was told they were BFP???
I have heard stories that people have had false negatives before anyone who can share their stories would be great to hear from you.

Hi Sandi..

Sorry I can't help but I hope someone can as my AF was due Saturday... I tested last night and got a negative but my AF hasn't arrived either.. Looks like we're in the same boat.. Good luck

Hi Sandi, does your clinic offer you a blood test at the end of your cycle? If AF is overdue you should request a BT to give you an answer.
And yes I have heard of IVF patients getting a BFN on a HPT only to be pg all along. I hope this is the result for you too! GL xx

Thank you so much for that info I really found it interesting.
Yeah I'm going for my BT tomorrow and I guess I will find out for sure.
Anyway I can promise myself I will never do another hpt during an ivf cycle again.
It's absolutely painful to wonder.

Fingers crossed for you, when you find out please post in the ttc and assisted conception thread and hopefully I will be seeing how you go!!!!
