pregnyl injections

Hello Ladies

I was just after some advice. I have just been put onto Pregnyl 50IU and the little vials hold 500IU so my delimma is do I keep the vial and keep using it till it is empty or do I throw out the remaing Pregnyl. I think it is a bit of a waste if I have to throw it away.
Can someone please help me.

sorry i though for pregnal you had to use it all - how else would you know how much you were getting?

there is no dial indication?

I too had less than a full dose (last week) and yes you do have to throw it away, I agree it is such a waste.

Originally I was given Ovidrel but changed to Pregnyl (for trigger) even though the ovidrel was in a sealed packet etc and never touched it too had to be thrown away same with all my leftover Puregon (only had low dosages).

Hi Pitapata - you just measure it as you do with any traditional needle - my lucrin was the same - only puregon had a dial needle. I much prefer the old style needle.

Thank you for the responses I guess I should throw it out, it is such a terrible waste and I only have enough Pregnyl for two more injections I don't know if that is normal or not as this is the first time I have been put on the pregnyl. OH well just hoping this works.
