    Question FRER and evaps?

I have done several IC HPTS, from ebay, the ones with the green end.. and they all have the same very faint line which I am starting to think is an evap line. So I did a FRER and although not very clear there is still a faint pink line. I have used FRER many times in the past and found them reliable but still when I have been pg the line has been clearer.. so has anyone ever had an evap line on FRER?
    I won't test again until tomorrow or the next day. I am day 24 but cd1 was a D&C for a m/c at 9w2d.
    thanks

    Hi Judy,

Ive also found FRER tests to be very reliable. Ive never got an evap line with them. The times I saw a faint line it was always a positive (even the ones that didnt stick).

Although, I would prob lean towards it just being leftover HcG in your system after the m/c and d&c. I cant remember the exact CD (20-something I think), but after my d&c in Jan I did a FRER and had a faint line but I knew it was just leftover coz we werent TTC again yet.

I guess you just need to wait and see if it gets darker! I have my fingers crossed for you

    Hi Judy,

Is FRER the First Response? If so, I have had evap lines with them, although they showed up after the alloted testing time. They were pretty obvious after about an hour and had a pink tinge to them. Yes, I know I should have thrown them away after 10 minutes and not looked at them again!!

As for the ebay cheapies, I also used the little sticks with the green end and I never got even a faint evap line with them.

Just as an aside, I had a very clear positive with FR at 8dpo, the result on the internet cheapie was very, very feint at 8dpo (hmmm... is that a line or am I imagining it??) but pretty clear at 9dpo. I think FR are the most sensitive on the market???

Good luck with the testing, I have my fingers crossed for you! Keep us updated

I had a false positive, or maybe an evap line on a FR. It came up on the boarder of the processing time.

Hope it's the real thing for you!!

    Thanks for the replies
yes it is the first response, the early one. Todays line was a stark BFN so I am thinking it was just the left over hcg from the twins
