Help!...OPK's and 2nd positive

Here goes..I have 28-30 day cycle. Last month I had a twenty nine day cycle with positive OPK on days 16 and 17.. this all fitted nicely with a 12-14 day luteal phase suggesting I O'd, also had a day 21 progesterone test which confirmed ovulation. This month I got a faint line on day 13, a dark line on day 14 and no line on day 15 (using ovunow). Also had some sticky fertile-like CM (although lesser quantity than usual). Since day 17 have felt extremely tired, had an almost constant headache and lots of extra PV discharge (sorry TMI) with a constant feeling of wetness and white or clear in colour. It is not sticky/stringy like fertile CM and is not thrush. Tonight (day 20) I got so puzzled by this loss I did another OPK (thinking not very clearly but wondering whether I'd mucked up ovulation timing) Anyway- immediately got a very strong, dark line- much darker than I have had before. I'd heard you could get a positive OPK if you were pg so I (much to partners "its too early" concerns) did a HPT and it was negative. MY big question now is does this mean that I have not yet O'd or could it be v.early pg with not enough BHcG to detect??? I know that time will tell and I have to wait it out however, I am a lesbian and we are trying to conceive using a known donor. If I had a male partner I would bd tonight to "cover all bases", we have discussed asking the donor for another sample tomorrow night but it is all a bit stressy organizing and doing so and if the strong likeliehood is that I O'd a week ago we wouldn't do another insemination. Just for more info I gave up doing my BBT as I get up anywhere between 4.45am and 7.00am which was making BBT unreliable. Sorry this is so long and thanks for your help in advance, Girldoc

Hi have you consided joining fertility friend? even if you have an inconsistent wake up time you can use the temp correcter. It's not perfect but reliable enough to help determin o time. Also you could check your cervix position. it may take some time to get to know it intimately but if you are o'ing it should be high and soft. sometimes it is possible to get +tive opks at different times but if you can use atleast 2 different methods to compare with it may help your chances esp when you dont have a male DP at your beck and call. Good luck
