    False positive or not?

So I'm CD 13 today and having intense ovulation pain so I did a OPK (actually I did 2 lol) and got a really strong positive result. My question is I did this about 9-9.30am then I was reading that you should do them normally at 2pm. So would this be a false positive or not? Just to add it wasn't my fmu. Please help

Time of day should not make a difference. You are ovulating - congrats!

Canmnciara, you will need to bd for the next three nights to be sure. The opk only indicates a surge of luteinising hormone meaning you will ovulate in the next 24-36 hours.

    Good luck!

Sorry to be a pain! But does this actually indicate that I'm ovulating or that my LH levels have just surged? I'm not entirely certain when I'm meant to O. Also how often do recommend we DTD?
