    I haven't been in this situation, but I do know that you are more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. The doctor should have taken your word for it and done the BT. I would be testing again with a different brand of HPT and see what happens.

    Thanks Bon. I am def.keeping HPT's in business. I would have felt better with BT. He said we wouldn't do it until his test was positive.

    Sandy, i would take antother test and go see a new doctor!

    If that is the level of care they are providing now what kind of care will tehy be providing late on?

    I say take another test & see a new doctor & request the BT be done.

    Hoping the Dr's test was wrong...

    Did you do the drs test first frist mornig urine? It's possible that it didn't pick up at the drs because the concentration wasn't high enough.

    You could go to another dr, and if they ask you to do a pee test there just say you didn't expect to have to do a pee test so you don't actually have to use the loo, but you've done one at home and its positive and you would like BT confirmation.
