Hi Beccas,
Thought this might ease your mind.
I just got my third hcg level back (1st one was <2, 2nd one was 29) this one was 2189!! It is on the lower side, but all my preg, including the 2 successful ones have been lowish to begin. It indicates that it has doubled as required, so I am happy with numbers. I still don't know how far along I am though. Somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks (dates say 6w 5d but ovulated late) It sounds like your levels do what mine do. Don't worry, they tend to jump up quickly with me and MS hits with a vengence. CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK!!!!!
Becca I am sure everything is fine. My doctor with Milo didn't even do a BT, he said HPTs are pretty good these days (and I'd done 4), so no HCG measuring at all.
hi everyone - good news! Dr called this pm to say levels now 80 so they have jumped from 36 to 80 in 24 hours. She is very happy with that and said the levels are within the normal range so all is good - yeah! now i can finally relax and enjoy (well at least until i think of the next thing to stress about!).
Hi all. I did a test today, and there was a very very faint line. I use the new clearblue digital test, and on the screen it said not pregnant, but I took out the test strip and there was the 2nd line. But like I said there was a really faint 2nd line there. I got my AF on sat night at about 6.30, and I normally go for 7 days, and it's normally heavy on the 1st and 2nd day and then starts to go light by the the 4 and 5 day. But this time it was light 1st, 2nd and by the 3rd day it was done. I have sore boobs off and on, been feeling different in my tummy, so thought I would do the test. I have looked on the net about false pos, and it said that if 1 comes up its called a evaperation, sorry bad spelling. Cant anyone shed some light on it for me please..
hi rrtj2000, the digital tests always come up with a second line even if you are not pregnant. basically the test works by the little computer analysing small differences in the colours between the two lines (which we cannot detect visually) to determine if you are pregnant. the test works from 50 HCG so it is not an 'early detection' test as such. there are quite a few good websites about the digital test and i think some threads in belly belly about it to. if you google clearblue easy digital test you will get some more information.
