OPK confusion! Positives?

Ive been using OPKs this cycle for the first time. This is my 2nd cycle after a m/c....I got my AF 33days after my d&c and now on this cycle...

My cycles are always 30days. And I was assuming O on about CD16ish - which obv was working, coz during our TTC journey I had 2 chem pg's and 1 BFP based on just observing my CM.

So I used Forelife OPK last week - on CD14 I got a +ve...or what I thought was +ve. The test line was half dark/half light (from left to right) and the darkest bit of it was as dark as control line. Next days OPK was -ve. So right on time with what I was expecting pretty much...

So then we get to 5DPO (yesterday) and I had a big glob of EWCM??!!! So I went and bought more Forelife OPKs and got a +ve like the one I had last week (half dark etc..). Did another one today and it was also +ve.

Do you think these are REAL +ve's?? I had more EWCM today as well...and yes, its DEFINITLEY ewcm!!

The last time we DTD was CD17, so yesterday being CD21 we DTD again after seeing that OPK. So if I am Oing late we should still catch the egg...

But last week I also had a heap of symptoms from CD15....I felt VERY nauseous all day, had spotting for a few days, huge pains in my belly....so I really thought O was last week??

Here is the one from today, which looks same as yesterdays. In this photo it does look pretty positive!! But the test line is only a skinny dark and the other part of it is really light (lighter than control)

I just dont want to believe its a +ve!! I cant understand why I'd b Oing late this cycle? Surely its not from the m/c, coz my first cycle after that was pretty spot-on (only 3days later than normal)

For visual confirmation of a +ve OPK visit the website peeonastick. I've found the site helpful.
Are you aware that the C and T lines need to be similar in strength in colour? Having a line present does not therefore equal a +ve. Also testing in the middle of the day is ideal. Given I work I was testing around 5pm when I got home. Consistency is the key, i.e testing at the same time each day.

Your +OPK sounds exactly the same as mine was and I got a + one day then a - the next with the same brand as you, I had EWCM and all the other O signs too. Im sure it was a real positive cause I had really strong O pain the day after I got the positive OPK.

Yep. just checked the pic of your test and that is exaclty what my test line looked like too...

CBG - thanks. Yep, im aware that the test needs to be as dark or darker. Thats why im confused about these ones...coz only half the test line is dark and the other half is light.

And i tested about 12noon yesterday and today

Just ran and did another one....held my pee for over 3hrs...and the test line came up really dark straight away!! Still slightly light on the other half of the line, but all darker than control. Normally, they are both really faint to start with and darken up over the 5min..
