OPK question, please help!

Hello,
I have been lurking for awhile but the last time I posted was over 2 years ago when I was trying to conceive #1.
I now have an 18month old daughter and we have been trying unsuccessfully for almost 10 months to conceive #2. I have PCOS and have only had AF twice since my DD was born. I have been using OPK'S to try and determine if I am ovulating.
My question is, do the lines have to be dark to be positive? I know that the test line should be as dark as or darker than the control line but mine has come up with two lines that are both faint. One is not darker than the other but I am not sure if this counts as positive or not! Any help would be appreciated!

If the control line is faint, then I think that particular OPK may have been a dud. Sorry! It does happen from time to time. Try another one. Hopefully it's not the batch.

Thanks for the reply. I have used a couple of the other O.P.K's from this batch and have had a couple come up as invalid- so it may be the batch!

you should contact the manufacturer and try to get a refund or replacement especially if there was more than one that wasnt working properly.. they are expensive!

Thanks for the reply. I contacted lullaby conceptions and they were more than happy to replace the tests that were faulty. They said they had experienced a few problems with that particular batch. They are sending out a whole new batch this week so fingers crossed I get a positive OPK soon!
Fingers crossed that you get your BFP, I hope that the 2ww is going quickly for you!
