i got a -ve on my opk so the strongest ive got this week while Oing this week was a line that is fainter than the control line.
from the posts apparently a lot of women dont get close to the darkness of the control line!
    so we are pretty normal!
now im waiting for my tww. not sure if the pregnancy ones will be faint too!

    Hiya,

Sorry for butting in like this...I've used heaps of these tests over the past 2 years and the test line never seemed to come up darker than the control line no matter how long I tested for!!!

However last month (after I had a HSG done - which is a fallopian tube wash) the test line finally came up darker than the control line!! I was thrilled!! It was almost as if I had gone a BFP!!! But unfortunately this did not mean anything...as I am once again trying this month.

But thank goodness there was a second line appearing for you!!!

    Good luck

I would pay more attention to what your body is doing than to an OPK - have never had a positive OPK myself.

If there is EWCM it is most likely you are fertile, or about to O. Once you have O'd, the EWCM usually dries up (though some people, myself included) have noticed EWCM after O day.

FTR, my DD was conceived without charting, OPKs or anything - DH & I just BDd when I had fertile CM.
