Possible Faint possitive on Crystal Clear... Anyone else had this?

Ok, so I tested using a Crystal Clear HPT this morning with FMU, even though I'd been up and down to the loo for half the night, and at the 3 min mark a very very very faint bluey-grey line came up. There is no colour when held up to the light, but sitting on any surface that faint bluey-grey line is still there, approx 1mm-2mm wide, with the white line (that Crystal Clear seems to have on it before testing) running down the middle of it.
I also tested last night with a BFN, and comparing last night's one to this morning's one there is a definate difference.

I can't get a clear photo of it though, or I would put it up here.

So anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and been pregnant? And if you could share pics that would be even better so that I can compare (and prove to DH when he gets home that I'm not just imagining things!).

hi, i wanted to let you know i had a faint pos with the crystal clear using fmu at 30 days into my cycle (normally have 30-31 day cycles) then the following day i tested with first response early result and i got a very clear positive. i would say crystal clear are not that good in my experience. i was getting faint positives on forelife from day 27.
please post us your results tomorrow, if you test again, and good luck!

(ps i would take a picture but my camera is no good. and i think the line faded more after a few hours, although still visible now)

I just googled pregnancy test photos and found some great photos with pics of evap lines and positives as well! Try that

    Thanks guys.

Last night DH said there wasn't a line and I was imagining it so....

I've just looked at the tests again and they're completely dried out. The one from the night before has a white/clear evap line with a small bit of pale blue along one edge.

The one done with FMU now has a greyish evap line (white on the back side of it) with pale blue along one side, so I'm now thinking it is a BFN, especially as my temp's have started to drop again and I'm getting crampy again after 5 days without cramps.

Thank you again for all your wonderful advice!

Same thing is happening to me right now.

    Hi Jenna,

I feel like i'm going crazy, like i'm imagining it!

In certain lights it is there but so very very faint.. i've used the same brand too. Crystal Clear.

We're not trying for a baby, but i'm so scared tomorrow when i do the other test in the morning that it's going to be negative!

I'm freaking out, I think i'm going crazy and it's not actually there!

I've been peeing a lot lately, that's the only symptom I have and i've been tired.

I hope i'm not seeing things!

Amystella, I hope you get the result you're wanting

I was actually preg that month when I started this thread, but sadly we lost the bub not long after the first truly positive test.

We're still hoping that we get our sticky BFP next month though

Hi Jenna, thank for your reply.

I took the the other test this morning and it came back negative.

I'm not sure what to do now, advice?

Hi Amystella, I'd give it another week, and if AF (your period) still hasn't arrived then do a test with a different brand - I've found that First Response is the most popular one here on BB.

If it's still negative, and AF still hasn't arrived, then go and see your doctor and get a blood test done.

    I hope that helps

    Hi Jenna,

Thank you for all your help!

My sister made me take another test this morning, it was first response, and it was negative..

She's convinced Im pregnant, after having 2 babies under 18 months old herself she's excited for me to start...

A positive is a positive, so i'm not going to rule out the fact i'm not pregnant.

I'll wait a week or two and either take another test or get a blood test.. because if I am pregnant right now i'd say I would only just be over two weeks...

Thank you again and I will let you know.
