removing test strip from plastic cassette

Can removing the test strip from the plastic cassette effect the result of the test??? Can it cause an instant evap line???

Has anyone done this or am I the only nut case?

i am not sure of the answer. but wanted to say no you are not the only nutcase doing it lol. i considered doing it today, as after i poas there was a second line behind the clear casing. i didn't do it tho, i don't want to go obsessing over hpts over the next few days - want to enjoy myself a little and put this ttc thing behind us a bit.
