    Question Surely not?

    Hi Ladies,

Just for s***s and giggles I did a OP Test this morning and a faint line came up

Did not expect this having just had my Merina removed on Monday and am still having a withdrawal bleed....

So...gross as it is....should I be DTD? Is there a chance that I could catch that egg while bleeding? Does bleeding effect the result on an OP test?

Feel like an idiot but I have no idea! Help please!

    xx

I'm no expert by any means but I think with OPK tests a faint line doesn't indicate a +/ the line has to be as dark or darker? than the control line for it to be a positive. P.S you make me giggle

Maybebaby is right. You always have some luteinising hormone in your body so you will always get a faint line on an OPK.
The test line needs to be as dark, but preferably darker than the control line to indicate a surge.

Ahhh ok cool hehehe thanks for informing me about OPK's. I have never actually recieved a line from an OPK so wasn't sure if it was like a preg test where a line is a positive no matter how dark. hehe feel silly for getting excited.

Not silly at all! It would make it much bloody easier wouldn't it? I hate OPKs for that reason, so much analysis over the darkness of a line *sigh*

    Update:

    Hey Girls

I have had such a weird couple of weeks. Withdrawal bleeding, one day off (no bleeding at all), then more bleeding but got a dark OPK reading last night?? Soooo weird!! I am SOO addicted to POAS I have been POAS for the past 3 nights (OPK's) but they have been getting darker and darker

I posted up a photo of my OPK's from the last 3 nights...

I got a faint pos, then a strong pos and then tonight - nothing?

So just judging by the OPK's it looks like I did Ovulate but am still bleeding....

Has anyone had any experience with ovulating and then bleeding in succession?

    Ovulation is so confusing!!!!!!

I started doing them having no idea where I was in my cycle and had no lines for 3 days, then faint lines for 2 days and then a positive for 2 days and now its back to being a fainter line thats hardly there at all.

Maybe as you had the birth control out, you were still getting it out of your system but you did ovulate?

I guess only time will tell and if AF does come then you will know where to start from again hun. xx
