What the hell does this mean? Could it be....

Hello Everyone!

First time poster from good ol' blighty

I've been reading like a millions threads on here dating way back, you're all sooo lovely and supportive to each other, defo need some of that right now

Right, I did a OKP clear blue digital test on Wednesday 4th July BFN, then did it again on 5th July at around 6.30 pm BFP. BD on Friday 6th at around 6.00am and again on saturday but no ejaculation inside on this day.

Anyhow severe pains on sunday, so just thought it must be O - tbh never felt O pains before. Not desperately ttc at the mo. But basically have been having cramps since sunday AF (the cow) is not due to visit until 22nd so well over a week yet.

Bought some 10miu HPT tests which claim to be 99.99% accurate. Not sure what day I should be using as DPO.

If it was then friday then i'm 9DPO
Saturday then I'm 8DPO
Sunday then I'm 7DPO

I know it was stupid, but thought considering sensitivity of test, I started testing around 5DPO all BFN.

BUT..... did it again this morning with FMU and had a v v faint second line.

Have been feeling bloated and gassy, and cramps have been constant every day since sunday.

If I beat my boobies, I'm sure they will sore

But apart from sign above nothing else.

So am I preggers or what?

I sooooo hate the 2ww....... please comment, am I just being way way way too sensitive or is possible to have signs so early on????

They say a line is a line. That said though I've seen numerous women get faint lines on HPTs who then get their AF a few days later. Don't get too excited until your AF becomes overdue and then test again.

Sounds very promising! Within the next couple of days, that line should start getting darker. Once it is nice and dark, that's when I'd go to the doctor's to explain that you think your pg because of you've had BFPs on the home pregnancy tests that you've used. I'd take one with you! Then ask for a blood test to confirm the pregnancy and if you can have a dating scan.

I'd be inclined to agree - a line is a line. I doubt you need encouragement but i'd test again in a few days, with first morning urine again, to see if the line is getting darker, then pop along to the doctor once AF is late.

If you're in the UK they probably won't do a bloodtest, just another urine one to make sure. And you probably won't get a dating can either, but you should get one at about 12 weeks to check everything looks good and to do the measurements for the abnormality tests if you want them.

Oh thank you so much for your responses.

I got really excited and couldn't believe that the test I did was accurate. So I held my pee for about 4 hours, that was agony cos I've been going a lot especially last couple of days every 1.5 to 2 hours almost on the dot. Anyhow, did the test again and it says to read the results in 5 mins. Sure enough faint pink line again before 5 mins and it's still there!

Is it possible to be this lucky so soon? I had a medical abortion on April 17th (still too painful to talk about), AF 31 May and again 25 June. Both times normal.

Can someone tell me what I should count as my DPO? If I remember rightly the OKP said that once you get a positive that you can ovulate anytime in the next 48 hours.

Only did BD on Friday which was 12 hours after the positive, not counting saturday cos he pulled old the silly bugger!

I dont know about blood test here tbh. But I did get a dating scan at 6 weeks with little Angel that I lost in April so not sure how fixed the 12 week scan is either.

I will defo be testing, I've done two today. Will see if I can refrain tomorrow I doubt it though

Hi Ellana

Gassiness was my main symptom when I got my BFP in April (as in burping, not the other end)........... congratulations.

I dont think it really matters when you ovulated because the due date will be worked out using your LMP (Last Menstrual Period) not your ovulation date.

hmmmm not sure which is worse!

Well, I did a First Response prego test cos the ones I've been using I bought from the internet (a brand I've never heard of from a website called babymad). Not due AF til 22 July but lo and behold, came back positive! yay!!!

God I'm sooooooo excited and thankful to boot, I've got a scan on 30th July! Haven't got a clue why doc suggested that, said it was nothing to worry about so I'm trying not to although I can't help worrying a little bit cos it's way too soon but anything to ensure my little bean (to be upgraded to "bump") is ok.

Keep your fingers crossed for me guys please
