Re: When to do a pregnancy test?

i would apply for the job, and i wouldn't stop ttc for a job or potential job beginning in 6 months. alot can happen in that time.

when i was looking for work after studying and my job becoming redundant, i became pregnant. I continued to apply for permanent or long term jobs until i was 12+ weeks pg. Past this time, i applied more for short term jobs.

You can always withdraw your application if you get a bfp!

You said it yourself. You like to keep living life normally so do that. Apply for the job and keep living like normal. Don't test on the basis of applying for a job or not. Like others said, so much can happen in that time and you wont be the first person to get a job and then find out you are pregnant and wont be the last.

Apply for the job. By applying you are not signing up to anything. Don't forget a job application process is also for you to check out and 'interview' your potential employer so you can still withdraw your application or turn down an interview or an offer at anytime. IMO an application isn't something you would change your plans for. Goodluck with the application and the HPT!!
