Protection & Cleansing Ritual for our new home

Hi Girls

This may sound a little weird, as I am sure that this is one of those stupid bored teenager things that happens to houses being built, but it is really playing on my mind.

We are building a house - in fact it has just been finished. (YAY! lol)

A few months back when we went to see the progress, the walls were up, no windows or doors or anything, so it was all open.
We went around the rooms and were very excited, and then we went into what will be Charlotte's bedroom.
And on the slab someone had written in very large black letters spanning the whole room "YOU'RE F****D"

Now it really shook me at the time and I had a really really negative feeling as soon as I saw it. I felt violated - as though my wonderful new home had already been intruded upon and tarnished. All of these feelings I figured were normal, and I discussed it with DH and he agreed, and told me not to worry, that it was just stupid kids, yadda yadda.

But the feeling has never left me. Nor could we get the words off the slab. So now the house is finished, the new carpets are hiding this darkness in her bedroom...does that sound OTT?

I love the house and I want to feel safe and secure there - DH is FIFO so I need that sense of security (our previous house was broken into while Charlotte and I were home late one night last year and it really shook me up...made me very angry)

I need a ritual that I can do before we more in when we get the keys to give me some peace of mind...and quite frankly I feel I must listen to my intuition and recognise that there is something there that shouldn't be and try and be rid of it.

So any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
(And anyone in Perth interested in helping me perform it would me more than welcome)

Found this for you:

The Runic Tiling Shielding Exercise is a mental one. To start stand in the middle of a room that is a central point in your home. Face north. using your ceremonial dagger, point it towards the north and Inscribe, in the air in front of you, the rune Othiila (sacred ground). Inside of this rune inscribe the run Algiz (protection). It will fit perfectly. You can draw them out on a piece of paper first so you will have a better mental image.

Say aloud "I am protecting my home from all evil and negative, harmful, destructive energies, both physical and non-physical coming from the north."

Bring dagger down to the center and turn from the north to the east. While facing the east again inscribe the two runes and again say aloud the protective mantra using east as your reference. Turn south, then west, then back to the north. You will have come full circle. You will have inscribed 4 very powerful runic bind runes around your home.

Do it every day and with each ritual the strength of the bind runes will increase. You will soon feel less and less fear and chaos in your home and life.

Here is an Egyptian spell I used years ago in a house me and my then partner where sure had a presense.....

4 sprigs of rosemary
4 olives (subtitutes for olive flowers, flower of peace)
4 sage leaves
1 bowl spring water (or untreated rain water)

put one each item in the 4 corners of your home. with your fingers, sprinkle some spring water in each room, repeating, " You who enter, do not enter with ill feeling. I have uttered the words over the sacred herbs, Placed in all corners of our home. And I have sprinkled each room with sacred water. May it not be haunted by any spirit."

Good luck, there is nothing worse then a bad vibe in your home......

Limeslice -I think cleansing is a wonderful thing to do. In sad you couldn't get it off, if you ever want to change the carpet as DD get's older, you could change the message to a special one, be one step ahead ..

Your ....with the F word ..... F (add an L ) u change to an O, c change to another O.... Which Now spells FLOOR , the last letter D- add eserved (deserved) a special message " we love you"

So it would read

You floor deserved a special message - then you could add your own - paint some pretty flowers on the slab, in pretty colours, know that the message is a lovely message underneath.

That's what I would do, I know you just laid the carpet, it would cost about $100 to have it relaid, or if your DH was handy he could do it ..
