MAKO _ So glad to see you back & thrilled for you that you had such a wonderful time camping. Probably a great escape for you & away from everything that is constant reminders of the heartache you have endured. I really hope that 2012 brings you everything that you wish for.
LISA_ Oh my goodness, I can't believe you have been so ill. Here I am thinking you are painting the town red & having too much fun but you're sick as a dog. I really hope it's passed now & that you can enjoy the rest of the summer. It must have been the pits being ill over Christmas.
LEE _ Don't be sorry Darl, I realise I'm a bazillion miles away & I'm not at all in the slightest worried if I miss the date. I can't be exactly definite on when I'll be in Aus, but I know it will be sometime between Jun & Aug - so you guys plan away & if I can make it, I will. I'll def be skipping across to Sydney for a few days when I do make it home though. Given that it's so far away, I could probably say I would be able to make 15th July though.
MICHELLE _ Being that it's so far away, I don't mind us planning a date already, that way we have enough time to work around it? KWIM? So count me in for the minny. Still slightly worried bout leaving the kids in Perth while I jump across.......... lol
BEK _ I would cry happy tears of joy to be able to hug you IRL!!!!
FREYA _ I have missed you!!!!! How have you been?
AFM _ Well yesterday was our first full day of snowing & the kids LOVED it! I am clearly stupid & didn't expect it to be so slippery!!!! WTF, who was I kidding? It's only a matter of time before I lose my footing in it. Most of the snow melted over the course of the day & it hasn't snowed since, so still not enough for a snow angel or a snowman - but we are getting there. The kids have had today & tomorrow off school - teacher's work day & also parent/teacher conferences tomorrow so today we had a playdate with a friend which was really nice. I have decided to stop living as though this home is temporary only & started making it more homely. I bought some tealight candles & a fruit bowl & will finally set up my digital photo frame. I also need to start getting some more kitchen utensils. Now I have made friends with the oven I want to do some more cooking/baking etc... I am feeling really good about the whole living away experience since going back to Perth for Christmas. I realise that everybody IS still there & that things are still the SAME & I was actually hanging to get back here to Qingdao.
So tell me, those who have little girls around 3-4 years old, do you have constant floods of tears EVERY time something doesn't go their way? Oh my goodness, I'm OVER it! 'Curly, clean up the mess you made' says me 'Boo hoo hoo hoo hoo' says Curly!!!! Grrrr to her! My good girl is growing devils horns.
