Oh, did I miss something? Did Laney have her baby???? I've been thinking of her lots lately, and keep meaning to post in here and see if she's still around.

Oh, did I miss something? Did Laney have her baby???? I've been thinking of her lots lately, and keep meaning to post in here and see if she's still around.
I think she had her bub because I saw some posts on FB. No BA on here though
Laney was due to go in for her c-section on Wednesday (but with the time difference.. it was about the same time as me)!! I've been hanging out to hear all the details too!!!
Janie - It was sooo wonderful to see you yesterday and would be great if you get time to pop in again!!! You're ALWAYS welcome.. it's been a bit boring in here!! Yeah... the drugs took effect after you left and I went a bit downhill from there but all good... just struggling getting the pain under control again.. its so frustrating. My milk is coming in too and it's not much fun but Campbell is an absolute champion so I'm over the moon!! I just can't wait to go home with my boys. I miss Luke terribly!
Anyway must get some sleep.. feeling really average again tonight. Might have to send Campbell to the nursery again so I can really rest up... I can't sleep with him in here!! He's had a good feed, so hopefully he'll go a few hours now!
Kel xxxx
I've got to stop reading after I take my pain meds! I see mention of things that just leave me baffled and confused and then I have to go back and read over them.
Kelly, it's lovely to hear that Campbell and you are doing so well!
Mako...
I need to have a little brag about how clever my boy is! I had never really thought that he knew what happens on which day of the week until today. But it is now apparent that he knows that the day after day care is the day daddy stays home. And that he also knows that if daddy is ironing a shirt and a pair of pants, then daddy is going to work. He saw DH ironing today and just HOWLED! His poor little heart was broken, daddy was going to work on a day he wasn't meant to. Normally when DH goes to work the crying doesn't start until he's walking out the door. Today was very different. Fortunately, DH had just picked up some extra work through a friend he used to work with and went to do the sound, etc for santa's arrival at a shopping centre near here. I hope that next time Sam picks a less heart-wrenching way of showing me how clever he is!
Oh... and I don't have Laney on facebook so am completely in the dark on her baby. Hope someone can fill me in.
BW
hi ladies, Brexton August was born on Nov. 10th at 11:26am. He weighed in at 8lbs7oz, a bit less than expected! I am feeling pretty good now but was very sick during and after the section, once again. We are home and trying to get some rest. will be back when i am in a little less pain. Thank you for thinking of us.
Just a quick one from me to say CONGRATULATIONS Laney on the birth of Brexton. Glad you're home now and hopefully you are able to rest as much as you need.
Kelly Do you know when you're allowed to go home? Glad to hear Campbell is doing so well :)
Congratulations, Laney!
Michelle, you will be in my thoughts tomorrow.
Hi Ladies,
BW _ Yes, I'm still processing some things in my mind about Jessica being so ill. I still have issues about it all & I still wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat about it. I know she wasn't nearly half as sick as lots of children get, but she was the sickest any of MY children have ever been. She had a chest infection, two massively infected kidneys & a renal abscess that was grossely infected. I'm still trying to figure out how she went from perfectly fine one day, so collapsing the next. But we are getting there now & she has put the weight back on & is thriving once again.
LANEY _ Congratulations on the birth of your little man - Brexton. I don't think I have ever heard that name, is it one that you saw in a book or one that you just thought 'you know what, I like the name Brexton?' Can't wait to see an up to date ticker pic!
KELLY _ Well listen to you on your posts! Little Miss My Baby is Just Doing Super!!! I'm soooooooooo glad for you darl! You sound so bright & perky & in love & it's just wonderful.
JANIE _ Gush, gush, cluck, cluck, you are no longer my friend. I'm insanely jealous you spending so much time with Kelly & Campbell & were witness to such a lovely moment of Ryann bathing Campbell with Luke. But lucky I luffs you!!! xx
WILLOW _ You packing yet? When is the big move?
MAKO _ Some people just have no tact or no class. I'm so sorry that everybody seems to be attacking you & I'm so upset your mum hasn't acknowledged your appointment. Just so you know, we are all here by your side, even when others who should be aren't.
BUN _ I haven't heard from you in ages, how you going?
SPRING _ How you going chick?
ANNA _ You too? How's the study?
MICHELLE _ See you Skype woman!
BEK _ You're right, it's a boys world right now isn't it??? How are you going?
DEB _ Have been meaning to ask about Immy & her progress, etc...? How is everything going there? Something I wanted to ask in Melbourne, but didn't want to make you feel as though I was prying, etc... Also, with Ruby? Anything happening there?
AFM _ We went to Beijing for the weekend to do some winter shopping for the girls. I was feeling very off colour, so we didn't do much shopping, just happened to get some essentials. Winter jackets, new runners, etc... & our flight got in late last night so the kids are having a pj day at home today. I have a mountain of washing to catch up on, so best I get onto that.
Love Jayne x
Hey Jayne - We are all doing well hun. I haven't much to report except the girls are keeping me super busy. Sara is starting school next year and she is so excited. It was her 5th birthday on the 9th. We had a family bbq and a Pony Cake. It is Loren's bday on the 9th of December and my bubba will be 3!!! Eva is waking, climbing, running and chucky tanties everywhere!!! AFM - I've been running/walking every single morning, but do ya think I've lost any weight..NUP!!!
Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been in for so long - I forgot to subscribe to the new thread and just thought everyone was being really quiet! I have just had three pages to catch up on! I am so happy for Kelly and Laney - congrats on your beautiful baby boys guys, I am so happy for you both. It sure is the year for boys isn't it?
We have been busy planning our move back west and I feel like we are constantly cleaning so people can view the house. It sounds like a couple of people are very interested so hopefully we will get an offer soon. I have been feeling a little anxious lately - I always get this way before a big move, it stresses me out. It shouldn't, as we are moving back to family and I have done it all before, but I just get a bit sad leaving all my wonderful friends here and I know it will take a while to settle back into Perth, especially for the kids. It will be fine though, and it will be lovely to spend Christmas with our families.
Jayne - I am loving hearing about your adventures in China! You have adjusted so well and I am not at all surprised that you have made new friends, you are a very likeable person :) And it sounds like the kids are doing great! For what it's worth, I agree with you skipping school on the dentist day - the kids have had enough on their plates lately as it is and are handling it all remarkably well. Am I right that you are coming back to Perth for Christmas? I hope you are feeling ok now.
Bek - I hear you girl! I have been exercising and eating heaps less and do you think I have lost any weight - NUP, me neither!!
Spring - I just saw your FB post about Ben almost walking - woohoo! Josh is only just furniture surfing but is desperate to walk. He can crawl sooooo fast though and he and Catherine have crawling races - it is very cute!
Mako - sorry about your Mum hun. I don't know if it helps, but we all love you and are thinking of you! I hope the surgery goes well. I am not sure if I will be online much in the next week as we are going away and then have friends staying so I wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you.
Janie - I am so jealous of all your Campbell cuddles! We are heading to Melbourne on Fri and Sat if you are free at all? I would love to catch up with you and Kelly if you guys are free, although I know it mightn't be the best time for Kelly! It will probably be our last trip to Melbourne before the move :(
Lisa - how are you going? Would love to catch up with you if you are free at all on Fri or Sat too!
Hi to everyone else - sorry for no more persies, I have a hundred things to do before the kids wake up. Hope you are all well :)
Mako - I just went back and read you post. I am sorry your mum is being this way. Hugs and all the best too.
Bun - Sorry to hear you are stressed. Moving is awful but you'll be HOME soon. GL with the exercise too, I can't believe how hard it is to lose just a bit of weight grrr
Mako, massive hugs darl
Bun, I probably should keep Friday free, but Saturday could be okay? I'm happy to meet somewhere near Kelly is case she feels up to joining us for half an hour or so? How about you LISA???
Jayney, I luffs you too  and I promise I gave Campbell a snuggle for you!
Michelle I'm sending you a massive amount of    and wish they were IRL ones..Happy 5th Birthday to your gorgeous little Caitlyn. You sure have let us know you're close by today with the clouds and the rain that is falling today.
I'll be back later to catch up with you all.
Happy Heavenly Birthday to Caitlyn. May she be having a fairy party with Daddy in the clouds & be eating strawberry cupcakes & leaping over rainbows.......................... I'm sure she has Mummy's wicked sense of humour & has Daddy in a fairy skirt & tiara!!!
Jayne  thank you for that image :D You have seen Greg so you would understand that those long fair chicken legs in a fairy skirt and him wearing a tiara is a total crack up!! But one I have no doubt he and his brothers would have ended up wearing at a girl party some time in the future
Thank you Mako
Well, in typical Caitlyn fashion it is raining. And I am happy. Considering. Almost exactly 5 years ago I gave birth to our beautiful sleeping daughter. I thought that was my hell but how wrong I was. This year I remember her birth without the one person who truly understands her loss (to us - not generally) and I am, in fact, quite numb. I don't think it is possible to hurt any more than I already do so today I have been able to smile in a weird way.
I have been able to remember with fondness her penchant for clouds and rain and floods around important dates. Remember the blessing she gave me - the blessing of you. I was given this group for love, support and healing after her death. Without her loss I would not have you. Without you I would not be surviving the loss of Greg. Out of darkness comes light and you are my light. I thank you every day for being my light and guiding me through this really, really dark time in my life journey :grouphug:
So today my firstborn is 5. Time truly does fly by.
Happy Birthday Caitlyn
Michelle, after I wrote what I did I had a bit of a panic & have been in here a few times to edit it, but I just haven't been able to. I'm so glad you are ok with what I wrote, but I just have an image in my mind of Greg with a fairy skirt & tiara on & holding a cupcake with a strawberry on it & trying ever so hard to look 'harrassed' but in actual fact, he's enjoying it immensely. I know it probably makes no sense whatsoever, but it's just the image my little mind has conjured up. xx
****Happy 5th Birthday darling Caitlyn****
Michelle, you have been in my thoughts all day. I can't believe she managed to pull the clouds and rain in after the hot weather we've been having. Clever, clever girl.
Laney - Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy!
Things here are crud, sick boys, no husband around to help, sleep deprived, stressed about the move (or moreso lack of progress on the move because I want my family back together :() you get the picture...
Michelle: happy 5th birthday to your firstborn child sweet little Caitlyn. Your post was so beautiful. You are one very special woman
Hugs Willow
Michelle you are such an amazing person and I feel so very lucky to have met you here and irl. your support is wonderful and I also cherish your friendship. I have to say your description of Greg and his chicken legs cracked me up along with Jaynes post lol.
Willow How did you go last night babe? I'm sending you a big  and please know you can contact me anytime for whatever reason.
Thanks for the support girls..I'm not going to post anything about my op on FB as mum is on there and I don't want her to see it iykwim? As for my step dad I think his conscience got the better of him and he actually called a couple of days later and said how sorry he was for his comment. He said once he saw the look on my face he knew he'd said the wrong thing
Anyway I'd best be off..I need to have a blood test done this morning and I've had to fast for it and I need to try and get this house cleaned up at some stage today as it really does look like a bomb has gone off..Sage decided it would be fun to tip 3 boxes of toys over the lounge room floor.
Wow Mako. He may have been incredibly insensitive in making that comment, but to ring and apologise takes alot of guts. Good on him. I hope it helped you to feel a tiny bit better  Good luck today xoxo
Mako - Good luck today hun... thinking of you.
Michelle - You are incredible and I'm so glad you've found the support you need in here... we're all so lucky to know you!! It's funny how things work out, isn't it. We're all here for you.
Bun - Wow, sounds like things have been pretty crazy for you... I can't believe you'll be back in Perth soon... I must say, I'm a little bit jealous but know what you mean.. it will be so hard moving back after making so many wonderful friends... I think I'm going to struggle with that... come the time (but I think I've got a while before I have to deal with that)!!
Jayne - I just LOVE hearing from you hun!! I miss you on FB but I'm so glad you're able to post in here still!!! Yeah, I'm just LOVING my new little man, he's a dream come true and I'm treasuring every single moment. I can't beleive how amazing it is. I really didn't take it in and enjoy it nearly as much when I had Luke.. it's so strange. I struggled quite a bit with the 'baby' stage last time and thought it would be the same again but it's completely different. It helps that he's a much 'easier' and more settled baby I guess!! LOL. I guess it also helps that we've been through it before and we're much more relaxed this time.
Janie - It's been so wonderful having you around and visiting us. I can't ever thank you enough for your friendship!! I'm glad we've been able to share some special times with you.
Lisa/Bun/Janie - I would LOVE so much to catch up. We don't have much on atm (obviously).. so should be able to make anything work. Ryann's on holidays too so I can leave Luke home with him and just come out with Campbell!! Or, you're all welcome over here??
Hope everyone else is well... sorry no time to go back and catch up on what's happening!! I'm just sooooo glad to be home and am LOVING Campbell. It's fantastic. My Mum and Stepdad left today for a week of travelling.. they're going to do the Great Ocean Road and then visit some friends... so we've got a week of just 'us' as a new family... which is wonderful. Campbell was so good last night too... for our first night home. He had a feed at 9.30pm before we went to bed, then woke at 12.30am and again at 4.30am, then at 8.30am... and each time, he fed really well and went straight back to sleep. Amazing. Luke is loving have a little brother too.. he's so gorgeous and has been 'helping' so much!! It's the cutest thing!! The feeding is going ok too.. much better than with Luke. I still have way too much milk but it doesnt seem to be as fast flowing this time. I'm having a few 'attachment' problems and one of my nipples is absolutely killing me.. but we're getting through it. I hope we can make it work a bit better this time!
Well must go.. am trying to rest up as I'm a bit sore from the c-section still (and it certainly doesn't help when a 3.5 year old stands on the c-section cut - OUCH)!!!!
Kel xxxx
Kelly, I'm just loving hearing about Campbell! It makes me incredibly clucky, but I know there are no more babies on the horizon for us, at least not without some massive changes to my health!
Michelle, Caitlyn always does such a wonderful job with the weather. I'm loving the images of Greg that everyone has and I'm so sad that I never met him, but at the same time I feel as though I have. That probably makes no sense.
Things here are still really rough. I'm hanging out for the methotrexate to start working again as it feels as though I'm just getting worse and worse. It's exhausting being in so much pain and Sam is still really too little to understand that mummy hurts and can't do as much as daddy does and please don't climb all over me because it hurts, just leave me to rest please and play with your duplo. *sigh* Poor kid. :(
BW
Any Mako news?
I'm still here Jayne..My op is tomorrow and I'm quietly $hitting myself about the whole thing now :( I have to be at the hospital at 11am so who knows what time I'll be done.
I think the worst part for me is the fact I know I'm going to be sitting in the same waiting room on my own again and all the memories of my D&C are flooding back and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it..I just wish this was over already.
I'd best be off and get the washing in and Sage's bag packed as he is having a sleepover at the IL's tomorrow night and we have some strange man ;) that Willow is related to coming for dinner tonight (I so wish Willow was coming too but one day very soon that will happen) ;)
Oh Mako... good luck for tomorrow hun... I'm thinking of you. I'm sure it's going to be an extremely tough day and I wish there was something I could do to make it a bit easier for you.
xxxx
Thinking of you mako and holding your hand.
Spring xx
Oh Mako, I'm so sorry you are doing it alone. Can DH not wangle some time off work? I wish I could be there for you. :(
I'll be thinking of you all day, please update somebody so I can read that you're alright. xx
Just popping in to again wish our beautiful friend Mako the best of luck tomorrow! You'll be in my thoughts, wish I could be there with you babe  And yeah, 'strange' is right! LOL Hope he doesn't eat you out of house and home ;)
Jayney, I will send you a txt when I hear from her if that's OK with Mako or she doesn't send one herself ;)
PS I was just looking at pics of your gorgeous girls on fb...missing you, not the same without you!
Hi my loves. Things are really tough for me at the moment. I just wanted you to know I hadn't fallen off the planet. I'm here - just struggling. I'll come back and fill you all in soon. xxx
Michelle - I hop eyou've received my messages. xxx
Deb - messages sent when??? I had a short time when my new phone died and I needed to get a replacement.
Willow I don't mind if you send a text to any of the girls tomorrow or even update for me in here although I'm hoping to be well enough to do that myself but who knows that could be wishful thinking on my part
As for your hubby he hasn't eaten us out of house and home but he's busy playing that stupid new xbox game with Jas lol..
Jayne Nope once again DH can't (or won't) take time off for me tomorrow..His mum and Sage will drop me off at the hospital and I don't want Sage to be there with me as I really don't think its fair on him to be hanging around in the waiting room while he could be at his Nan's house playing and not getting into trouble for getting into stuff he really shouldn't be itms.
Anyway I know I have all the beautiful ladies in here thinking of me and holding my hand when I need you to and that means the world to me so a big THANK YOU to you all :grouphug:
Deb I have been thinking of you and hope you are ok.Please pop in when you get a chance to let us know how you are. I wish there was more we could do to help you
Michelle how are you and your little ones doing?
Mako, sending you lots of strength for tomorrow  When things are feeling tough, just imagine us all holding your hand xoxo
Deb, I'm so sorry to hear that things aren't going well for you..........big hugs lovely  bring on 2011!!!
Kelly, you made me tear up :)
BW, that must be soooo hard
Michelle, thinking of you as always. I wish we were closer :(
Ah crap, have to go! And I have to stop saying that word, DS1 has picked up on it and says that mum says a bad word 'crap'. Oops! Loving myself stupid with my iPhone4 ATM, I think I need to divorce DH so I can marry it  Just got to set up Skype on the new PC and I will have officially joined the 21st century
OOOOOO Janie - skype and we can chat like I do with Lee and Jayne :D I can actualy chat to you on facetime too with the iPhone 4. You have just given me an idea for tomorrow .......... but your WiFi isn't set up is it??
Mako - thinking of you  and I would love to it with you. Unfortunately my childcare options are limited without DH so I will be sending you love and cuddles from afar.
Pumpkin o'clock fast approaches. All is quiet (touching LOTS of wood!!!!!) and I am off to bed. Night xx
Good luck for today Mako  If I was kid free and not working this arvo I would have driven up to hold your hand. I know all to well what its like facing surgery alone, it sucks. I'll be thinking of you all day xxx
I'm feeling soooooo far behind with the technology in here lol..My poor old mobile doesn't even have internet access lol although I have asked Santa for a new phone for Christmas but whether he delivers is another thing hahaha.
As for today I'm pretty sure DH has realised that its not ok for me to be going on my own after my little comments last night about "being used to doing this stuff on my own" etc etc so he has just surprised me with the news that he TOLD his dad this morning that he's finishing work early and taking me to hospital  That's the problem with working for family..It has its very good points but the bad ones suck.
I need to go and get organised and change the sheets on our beds and a general tidy up before we go..Arg the nerves are setting in and Willow I'm so pleased I didn't have to do what you asked if I was last night as the nerves have a natural affect on that area on days like today ;)
P.S Willow I have to say I love the new tatts your DH had done and the little one for your angel is gorgeous(he didn't tell me about that but I saw it when he showed me the one for Miss V ;)
Kelly happy 1 week birthday to Campbell :)
Thanks Freya  How is your new job going? Are you enjoying it?
Mako - I'm soooooooo glad to hear that DH is going with you today... hip hip horray! We'll still all be there holding your hand though. You're in my thoughts adn I'll be stalking you to find out how it went!!
Deb - Thinking of you too hun. I hope you're ok. Please update us soon.
I can't believe Campbell is 1 week old today... it's already going way too quickly!!
Kel xxx
