Best of luck for today Mako, I have been thinking of nothing but you all day. xx
WILLOW _ Would love you to text me!! Same number. Also, can you please PM me your e-mail address & I can send you some new pics of the girls? Claudia wore her formal uniform to school today & she looked so grown up. :( Jessica's uniform is still being made but she looks grown up enough in her PE uniform, I'm dreading her getting the formal one TBH.
I just had to share a big 'WOO HOO' on my part. Today, I weigh the same as what I did on my wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love ME

Thinking of you Mako.
Happy one week to Campbell!
Jayne, that is an awesome, fantastic, wonderful woohoo! You must be so chuffed with yourself, well done. (Just a teeny bit jealous here :p)
-
Just looking for news on Mako... So glad you didn't have to go alone and DH came through, Mako!
BW
-
Just a quick one to let you all know I'm home but VERY VERY sore :( :( Might try and come back later and fill in the details but don't hold your breath tonight ;)
-
Mako, I'm so glad to hear that DH came along with you in the end, but I'm so sorry that you're in so much pain. Would a nice hot shower & an early night to bed be of any help?
WILLOW _ Thanks for the text babe! xx
-
Mako I'm so glad to hear DH could go with you and it's all over and done with. Just rest up sweetie no need to update tonight. I'm just happy to hear you're ok. I hope the pain
subsides soon.
Jayne: I have major ticker envy Hun. Great work you sexy thang!!
-
Just popping in to let you know about Mako but see she has already done that - now go to bed missy and REST!! Wish the timing was better and I was already there so I could come and help you out :( I am thinking of you babe, I hope the pain isn't too bad :( Will try and give you a call tomorrow but if you're not up for it, just ignore me!! ;)
PS Nervous poos (as my friends and I call it!! bwahaha) suck!!!
-
Mako - I'm so glad to hear all went well, although not that you're in so much pain. I hope you managed to get some sleep last night and really hope you're feeling a little better today. Rest up and let your body recover.
Willow - LOL... hate those 'nervous poos'... that's what we call them too!!!
Kel xx
-
LOL Willow and Kelly..we too call them nervous poos..Not so great when you're waiting in the little pre op room gowned up waiting for about an hour and needing to go again  Oh well its over now but wish this pain would p off..I slept ok on my wait for it..tummy last night although the pain killers got a bit of a work out and am about to take some more..I might ask MIL to bring Sage back around lunch time so I can give him some thing to eat and then put him down for his nap so I can do the same.
I have to say how happy I am once again with my GYN/OB and all the hospital staff and the hospital..I've never once had any issues with them there which is awesome..I really think hospitals Private or Public don't get the wrap they deserve at times. I mean I've been in that hospital for 5 ops including DS's C section and 3 laps and 1 D&C and haven't had a bad experience yet nor have I come across a nurse that was having a bad day and showing it kwim?
Anyway I should go get some more meds for this pain..I wish the carbon dioxide would find another way out other than being trapped under my right rib or trying to escape through my shoulder tip OUCH!!
-
Let one rip woman!!
Glad you hear you're in pretty good spirits
-
Not quite lol I'm ok but still sore..Poor Sage was sooooo out of sorts when he came home. I explained to him yesterday that mummy was having an operation on her tummy and it would be sore so he'd have to be gentle. Well he wouldn't come anywhere near me when he was dropped off. I tried so hard to get him to come near me and I eventually showed him my tummy (or giggle button as he and DH call it) and he just said "aww sore" and went and sat on the floor and whinged and cried :( Poor boy was obviously traumatised by it and I told him I was ok and its nothing to worry about. He's now in bed asleep so will hopefully be ok when he wakes up.
-
Hi! It is so nice to see so many of you on FB!!!
I have a quick minute to post while the boys are sleeping. I just wanted to let you know that everything is going well and I am feeling great after my section. So far Brexton is a pretty easy baby. He does have his nights and days a bit mixed up so I haven't been getting much sleep yet. Grayson is having a hard time sharing his mom too. I have been trying very hard to spend as much time with him as possible but he gets very mad when I have to pick up Brexton. I know that it will get easier!
It hasn't really hit me yet that I have two healthy boys. I really never thought that I would be able to say that. Trying for a third has already crossed my mind. Dh thinks 2 is enough for us but the family doesn't feel complete. I'm not sure that it ever will without Parker ans Shelby.
mako, i'm glad that everything went well. I have been thinking of you lots.
Jayne, we looked for a name for months! It was really hard to find one that we both loved. We found Brexton in an Irish baby name book and we knew it was the one right away.
kelly, your little man is beautiful! How did your first week go?
-
OH Mako, I really hope he comes near you soon. Jess is EXACTLY like that as well. So mindful of somebody if you tell them they are hurt/injured, etc... My mum has a bad hip & although it doesn't bother her when the kids are sitting on her lap, she will only sit on the right side of her lap. It's really great that he can show compassion like that. You have raised yourself a very lovely little man - congratulations! I really hope the pain is subsiding today. When do you know any results or go for a post-op?
Love Jayne xx
PS _ Laney - so good to hear from you. Sounds like it's just normal 'growing pains' with your family - Grayson not happy to share his Mummy. It will pass - I'm sure of it. I'm so glad you are getting your mind around the fact that you have 2 healthy little men in your life. Shelby & Parker will always be a part of you, I understand how you are feeling.
Love Jayne xx
-
Thanks Jayne..He's come around a little more after his nap this arv but I think it helped that DH was home from work when he woke. My DR came to see me in recovery yesterday which she has never done before and she said things were pretty bad and she had lots to get rid of but it all looks ok now apparently..So fingers crossed it helps to make a nice snuggly home for someone very soon.
I have my proper post op appointment on the 10th January so only 2 days after we get home from our holiday.
Layney Its sounds like you and Brexton are doing well. I'm sure Grayson will adapt very soon too..Must be tough on the little ones when a new little person joins the family ;) Parker and Shelby will always be part of your family and will be watching over all of you
P.S I love your ticker pic...very cute :)
-
Oh Mako, I'm praying for you as well darl. It sounds like you very in pretty bad shape & that your OB has done a wonderful job. I'm glad she came to you in recovery to give you some feedback.
-
Jayne Look at your new avatar..smoking hot hot hot!!!!!
Thanks again for your support.
Well DH & I have had a bit of a chat this arv and it looks like we're planning a bit of a holiday in October next year to Tassie..So Lee I'm going to do my best to meet you IRL while we are there..We won't be bringing Sage with us but if we have a new bubba then they'll be coming along cos they'd only be a couple of months old at the most..So we have something else to plan and look forward to now too..I'm not sure if we'll hire a car and stay in motels or if we'll hire a motor home and travel in that..I guess it depends on if we have another bub by then or not as to what we do :)
-
Mako - Sounds like you & DH are having some really great moments and he really sounds as though he has realised how much you're hurting (physically & emotionally) with your angels. It's lovely that you guys are planning a holiday with just the 2 of you (possibly 3).
Lol, yes, I figured it was time to jazz myself up & Keike was the lady for the job! Hasn't she done an awesome job! Just a shame that I don't look like that IRL!!! I'm loving how pretty I look on my Avi though, I just can't stop staring at myself. Hahahah.
-
Mako - Just letting you know I have been thinking about you. I hope you recover well. Fingers crossed that 2011 is your year hun. xx00
Jayne - WOW lurve your avy.
-
Mako, I have a good feeling for you. I hope your recovery continues smoothly, take care of yourself
Jayne, SMOKIN'!!!!!!!
-
I have had a fantastic morning!!! Took the kids to Kids Starz Zumba today & they loved it & then had a play with all the other kids in the massive playground at the complex of where the class was held. It felt 'normal'! KWIM? The other mums were superly friendly & I just felt like I was beginning to belong. Also, I went to Zumba yesterday. It was hilarious! My dancing career begins & ends at 3am when I'm overly drunk in a club. Where you 'think' you are a star & that you have the voice, body & the moves, but sadly you do not. lol. But anyway, I shook my wild thing & had a great time. The other ladies, well I guess now they're my friends (hehehe), were so much fun & I just had a great time.
Anyway, so now I can use my oven in the apartment (I got brave) & we made nacho's for lunch & we are going to make cupcakes after the girls have had a rest. It's just all beginning to feel like 'home'.
I hope everybody is having a fab weekend.
KELLY _ Can't believe Campbell is already a week old :(
-
Jayne - Wow... love your new avi... definitely one hot mamma!!! Yeah, I know.. my last ever baby is now 10 days old... amazing! It's so great to hear that you're getting out and about and making friends!!! Well done... I knew it wouldn't take you long.. you're very 'likable'!!
Mako - It's so great to hear you sounding so positive and making some wonderful plans!! I hope you're starting to feel a bit better and praying that we have some more good news to celebrate soon. Thinnking of you.
Laney - Thanks for finding me on FB.. you're little man is just gorgeous too!! I hope all is still going well and I'm sure Grayson will come around. We're lucky that we haven't had that problem with Luke.. but he is that bit older and I think it's made a big difference!! Our first week has been amazing.. so much better than I ever anticipated. I didn't have the easiest time with Luke as a baby so was wondering how I'd go this time but Campbell is such a great baby and he's made it so much more enjoyable - iykwim!! He just feeds, poo's and sleeps!! It's great. I can't believe we haven't even had to get the dummy out... never thought that would happen! LOL. I think it helps that I'm a lot more relaxed this time and after all the drama's I had during the c-section, it's put a new perspective on things for me... plus the m/c and all that.. I guess I just appreciate it all so much more and knowing it's definitely our last bub also helps.. I want to savour every second because I know this time just how fast it really does go!!!
Well... although I'm EXTREMELY tired... I'm still loving having a newborn in the house!! He's just adorable and I couldn't be happier. He's feeding every 3 hours though, so it's rather exhausting and I have one VERY sore nipple!!! He's not attaching quite right and I know what needs to happen but just can't quite get it to work. I'm thinking of getting a lactation consultant out but I already know what they're going to say!! We'll see. It's not too bad atm.. I've been walking around with my boob hanging out.. it's a good look!! Especially because our house has windows EVERYWHERE and we look out over a playground!!! Oh well... that's life!!! LOL. DH is back at work tomorrow but Mum will be back tomorrow avo, so that will be nice. Otherwise not much to report.. the lack of sleep is going to be a killer.. I'm just getting through atm, so hope I can keep on top of it!!

Sorry to come in here and vent but Im a little hormonal and very crazy right now and I need to do it or I'll bust.
So Im sure some of you saw my most recent FB status. About the m/c and thinking how I would have been 15wks by now and feeling really sad that basically there is nothing now.
Just now a friend put up a status of "How can you lose something that was never actually there?". I dont know what its referring to but I got a gut feeling that it might have been my status (paranoid much?). Which makes me so effing mad. I feel like asking "Is this about my status? Because I can assure you that those of us who live in the real world would vouch that you most definitely can lose something that people think wasnt ever actually "there" or whatever thats supposed to effing mean".....................but I wont because I cant be bothered with the ensuing biatchfight.
God I feel like a horrible person but Im getting so sick of the constant status updates from friends about their pregnancies. I have a few who are due around the time I should have been too which just drives the knife in more. The particular friend who is part of the above vent goes on and on about having a little girl after two boys. I feel like deleting her from my friends list but we share friends and again, cant be assed dealing with the fallout. Im turning into a catty, poisonous sad sack. I dont know why this particular miscarriage has me so...............beaten down but it does. I had a panic attack in the middle of the night last night because I had a dream about being pregnant and it just hit me that by now I would have been showing, I would be feeling kicks, would have been weeks away from finding out the gender. I nearly passed out I hyperventilated that badly. I feel immense anger at what seems like everyone else having everything they want while my life is falling apart at the seems. Dh doesnt seem to really care or understand, it just doesnt feature on his radar I guess. Everytime my MIL rings she bring it up how I need to move on, that she doesnt understand why people who have miscarriages or stillbirths insist on holding onto it forever blah blah freakin blah. Ive had a few people bring the baby up not realising I actually lost the baby weeks ago and then feel all horrible that they put their foot in it (totally not their fault). I think the fact that there wont be any chance of another pregnancy til 2012 makes it worse. Every other miscarriage I was pregnant pretty much straight afterward with a successful pregnancy so I sort of skimmed past it if that makes sense.
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, I know life could be so so much worse than it is. I dont know whats wrong with me anymore.
-
On a bright note, happy 10 days Campbell  Kelly, he is absolutely beautiful I can totally understand why you have that loved up tone in your posts! Your ticker pic is gorgeous, bet seeing them together just melts your heart.
-
Oh Freya... massive hugs hun... it's such a difficult time and you have every right to be feeling the way you're feeling right now. I'm so glad you've got us to 'vent' to and get it out.. that's what we're here for, so never, ever appologise for it!! I wish there was something I could say that would help make you feel a bit better right now... I know how hard it is and I hope my posts haven't been making you feel even worse.. I always hit the post reply button and hope that I haven't been insensitive to anyone... but also want to share some 'good' news and give everyone hope - iykwim!!
Anyway just wanted to say that I'm thinking of you!
Kel xxxx
-
Sending you some more  Freya. It really is a tough gig we're on isn't it and it certainly doesn't help when people make insensitive comments. I honestly think people who have never suffered the loss of a baby whether it be only a few days/weeks or a couple of months into the pregnancy they just don't get it. I know I have a lot of people in my life who just don't don't have any idea about how upsetting and painful both physically and emotionally a loss is.
I would never ever wish a loss on anyone but sometimes I wish they'd be a little more compassionate and understanding.
Anyway feel free to PM me anytime or even FB me a message cos you certainly aren't alone in this journey
Jayne its great to hear how well you're settling in in China. I'm pleased you've made some friends too..How are the girls doing?
Kelly Its good to hear you guys are doing so well. Campbell sounds like he's being a good little guy for you apart from the attatchment issue. I hope you get that sorted soon though
Well I'm back at work nice and early in the morning. I'm not really looking forward to it but anyway not much I can do about that. I'm filling in for one of the girls tomorrow and Tuesday morning so have a 5 day week with a couple of split shifts thrown in for good measure. Just what I need right now not!! I'm still getting some pain in my shoulders so the carbon dioxide is still trying to escape and I have a very tender tummy to go along with it..I'm just hoping the kids tomorrow keep their feet to themselves
I hope everyone has had a good weekend :)
-
Hmmm well the status has disappeared this morning. Sus as.
Kelly - no no! I love hearing from you and all about Campbell. He is just beautiful and I am more than overjoyed that he is finally here. Its horrible thinking youll never have another one and such a huge relief when you do and they are safe in your arms. So go right ahead and keep on posting, I love it!
Mako - are you allowed to swim with stitches!? I hope you have a good day; and feet are kept to themselves
-
Hi beautifuls... sorry I've not been in here much, too freaking tired to be honest. But had to post and say FREYA - EFF the lot of them I say... honestly so many people simply do not understand, it's so not worth your energy being directed at ignorant folk. I only say this because I've been very guilty of it in the past - but I do understand the utter frustration and anger..... we understand babe. You should be 15 weeks pregnant, and enjoying the excitement rise.... it ain't rocket science to think a woman may grieve for her lost baby - your friend must be pretty dumb! But sadly the world is full of them. I called my first DHs parents the other day, and it really irked me that they never mention their son, rarely talk to his children, and (because my radar is finely tuned) they actually sounded fairly bored talking to me..... hung up from that phone call and rolled my eyes in disgust..... but what can you do. Their loss, shallow people. Hang in there babe - I'm hoping you might get another crack at it before 2012? Hugs xoxo (oh the biatch in me would probably post something cryptic as my status to get the dumb ones thinking ;-) ) xo
Mako - how are you doing sweets, on the mend? And I can't wait for you to come to Tassie! It will be beautiful to meet you!
Kelly - post away babe, us girls in here can handle it all - the good, the bad, the ugly and the sad..... Campbell is divine, I could pretty much eat him! You sound so in love xoxo
Michelle - how are you doing babe? Any news to report?
Deb - I know you've been MIA, how are you sweetness?
Laney - how are you doing babe, your DH went back to work? How's the first day been? xo
Jayne - I'm not talking to you because I would love to be the weight of my FIRST wedding day - but seriously, more power to you babe, you must be very strong! Glad to hear you are finding some like-minded girls and settling in xo
Hi Willow, Bek, Janie, Spring, and anyone my sleep-deprived brain has missed.
WELL.... I have 1 more week solo (and I type this, I'm painfully aware that our beautifuls Michelle and Deb, are indefinately solo) till DH gets home. With 4 kids it's been fairly FULL ON.... I'm exhausted. If I knew it was indefinate, I would definately get more support in place for myself to have a break - but I haven't bothered, knowing it was short term. I'll be getting some serious body work booked in for next week though. DH has lost 13 kgs in his 7 weeks in France - I know fancy going to France of all places, to diet lol.. but he needed the space (and his mother's support and cooking) to do it. I'm quite proud of him - he keeps promising me that for all my solo efforts, I will be rewarded with a new, energised and kinder DH.... I've booked us into a "blended family workshop' the night after he gets back, so we will be more actively trying to get into a better and happier space together.
Just a little WOO HOO from me - my little man, Flynn, turns 1 on 1st December, first day of summer - and what a warm ray of sunshine he is... just gorgeous - but even cuter is watching him and Remy interact - just priceless. He follows her everywhere, and she says in her best aussie voice 'come in ere baby' and he follows.... I love it!
Best get off, love and hugs to all - Lee xoxoxoxo
-
Flynn 1 already! Somehow I still imagined him as that gorgeous little newbie in your ticker pic lol
Sadly no there wont be any opportunity to TTC between now and Jan 2012. Dh is on holidays for the next 6 weeks then he has 6wks away doing various things, then April/Easter home then he deploys for 6-8mths in May. Meanwhile we are due for posting so will likely shift out of Sydney and I'll be leaving/moving while he is away to get Jett settled ready for kindergarten in Feb 2012 (eek!). Unless he doesnt deploy (which is looking highly unlikely) then maybe we'd start in July next year. I think some time to live a little will do me some good, plus I want to work some and get my swim teacher quals done. Part of me considers being insane and risking being heavily pregnant/giving birth while he is away but he absolutely hates the idea of deliberately chancing it, so thats a no go. And I dont want to be heavily pregnant and moving interstate either. Add to that the enormous issues Im having with Ripley and I just dont think its wise.
Plus I have already told him no questions asked we are going to Europe first school holidays Jett gets because he gipped me of a honeymoon lol
-
Ahhhh Freya - the lesson of patience is never an easy one, I'm not great at it.... but good things do come to those who wait.... and like you said, you have some positive things to do for yourself, so use this time to focus on yourself more xoxo
-
Freya,
It's ages since I have been on this site and I just read your post and wanted to give you a hug. I understand exactly how you are feeling.
And you did lose something, something very special. Your baby was there and don't let anybody tell you different! The pain will ease and to some extent go, but you hold on to the memory my love.
Love and warmest wishes,
Debbie

Lee I'm also a little excited about our future trip to Tassie. I know we'll be down there sometime in October next year as DH has the National Titles down there then but we just need to wait for the calendar to come out with the exact dates..I've never been down there so I'm really looking forward to it and how exciting that we'll get to meet IRL too :)
I seriously cannot believe Flynn will be 1 next week :0 and well done to you on surviving your little solo stint and well done to your DH on his weight loss..I hope the little workshop helps you guys out too
Freya Where/When are you looking at moving to? How's your work raining going? Are you still enjoying it?
My OB/Gyn doesn't use stitches so I was ok as far as that went(so I thought) She uses the glue and it does an awesome job..I had a special tape/gluey thing after my CS with Sage too and it was fantastic. The only thing I have an issue with now though is I also put a waterproof dressing over the top of my cuts this morning cos its not recommended that you swim with the glue..anyway as I've removed the dressing before my shower it has pulled the glue away and the lower cut on my CS scar is ok but my belly button isn't looking fantastic. Its weeping a bit and is looking rather nasty..I've got something over the top of it but if it doesn't stop soon I think I'll be off to get it checked. the glue should be on for 5-7 days according to the little info sheet I was given but anyway.
Hi to everyone..I'm actually a bit stuffed after 4.5 hours in the water this morning so I might go and have a lay down while Sage is snoozing..We are supposed to go visit a friend who had a little baby girl on the same day that Campbell was born but I've been kinda putting it off..I really do feel bad about that but the mummy sent me a message asking us to visit over the weekend and I was just not feeling up to it for various reasons including my op last week so I might really try my hardest and get there later this arv.
-
Im still LOVING my training. Ive already done 9.5 hours and Ive only worked four shifts. I have another shift tomorrow morning and thursday night so thatll bring my grand total to nearly 20hrs. They usually make you do 30hrs to qualify for a job (+ the certification which I will do Jan 16th) so I should be working by the end of January! Id work everyday if Dh would let me lol
-
I'm lurking Anna. Pretty please get T'ville. It would be awesome. I actually saw a girl who look so much like you at my circuit class the other day. She has young kids and I was so going to ask her if she knew you but then decided not to be a nosey parker (lol). It's great to hear that the training is going well. It is so important to have an identitiy outside of being a mummy. You deserve this time and by the sound of it you are doing a sensational job.
Kelly: Sending some sleepy vibes your way. I have an almost 11month old newborn. Mr B still wakes 3-4 hourly and it is so hard being tired for such a long period of time. I have to say I'm loving reading your loved up Mummy posts. Both your boys sound like such a delight.
Mako: Hun take it easy you hear. Get that funky belly button checked out babe, you do not want an infection. You are such a trooper going back to work so soon after your op. I too have a good feeling about this.
Hi to everyone else. I'm here, mostly lurking ATM but rest assured I'm here.
Big love
Spring xx
-
SPRING _ I miss you, please post when you feel up to it. I really miss you. :(
FREYA _ The inner biatch in me would have posted something stupid on her FB along the lines of............. your status makes NO sense whatsoever. LOL. I think good on you for having the bravery to NOT post back. I'm with Lee, I wouldn't have been able to help myself.
KELLY _ I really hope that Campbell gets that attachment sorted pretty pronto for you. I'd hate for you to end up with blisters & cracked nipples, etc... Oh & I'm totally LOVING the style you have going on in your house. Be careful, it might just catch on - having one boobie hanging out. Maybe I'll give it a whirl over here & see if it takes the world by storm? bahahahah
LEE _ Oh darl, I am exhausted for you to just listening to being on your own. I can't believe that 4 weeks is up already. That's just plain madness! Where is the time going? Also, you DEF are the 'line leader' (the COOLEST thing to be in Jess' school), for some 'body work, Lee time'. What's the plan? You know you love talking to me! lol. You should give Zumba a whirl!!! Honestly, it was the most fun I could have fully clothed. Plus the workout was intense, I was smothered in sweat afterwards. Flynn is 1 in a matter of sleeps? NO WAY!
MAKO _ Ooh darl, do you think it was too soon to head back to work? You worry me being in the water so long after the surgery.
Big Hello's to EVERYBODY here & Angel Babies 3 - I'm so glad to see you back in here!!!
AFM _ Well, I began my running today & believe me. It wasn't pretty!!! I set myself a goal of a certain weight for my touch down to Aus on Dec 18 & I honestly thought it wasn't achievable. But now it's only 3.5kg away. My body is used to all the walking now & so I thought with the Zumba & if I added running in the morning instead of the walking, I might just crack that weight. So I tried it & my body yelled at me the entire time - but you know what? I did it! I very nearly didn't survive, but I did it. That's the main thing. Everyday, it will get easier & with any luck it will tone up the jelly wobble on my belly.
Love Jayne xx
-
Hey Jayne - it was SEVEN weeks solo, closer to EIGHT really... lol .... and this is why I'm INSANE !!!! You are amazing to jog... I tried it once and it didn't like me ;-) you go girl!! I got 2 baby seats put on mine and DH's bikes..... took Remy out on the weekend, and nearly died, my butt is still sore... lol.... but I will keep at it when DH gets back, and will take Flynn instead - he's only 9kgs!!
Spring - u ok babe.... I'm suss you have been so quiet, hope things are ok in your camp hon xo My Flynn is not quite still newborn, but still wakes once or twice a night too... it wears real thin I know xo
Got to go, a certain 2 year old is calling for room service.
Lee xo
-
Hey all, just popping in to see how you're all doing.
Anna - Hide her babe. That way you don't have to see her crap on fb but then you don't have to deal with the fall out of deleting her. I've done it with a few people, problem solved! babe, it really is such a rough time. We know just exactly what you lost, and what you are feeling is very valid.
Mako - You didn't tell me about the funky belly button - you had it checked?? Very proud of you for doing the baby visit today, I know how hard it can be
Lee - On the home stretch now baby!! Well done! Hope you get some much needed rest when DH gets home. Well done on the weight loss too, my DH has lost 30kg this year :o I am SUPER proud of him!!
Kelly - Ahhhhhh, so lovely to hear you all loved up on your babymoon. I know how you're feeling because I was the same with D. It all just seemed so very easy the 3rd time around and I truly was able to enjoy it without all the stress and anxiety I'd had before. ENJOY that beautiful boy!!
Jayne - You smokin' hot mama...check out that avvy!! haha! Good job on the running. I've only recently worked up the courgage to run on the treadmill at the gym. It aint pretty either! Glad to hear you're settling in and making some friends. If you can do it in China, I can do it in Newcastle...right?!
Big hello to everyone I've missed!
We are doing OK. DH and I have pretty much decided today to pick a 'move date' and just go with that. This open ended, not knowing when the kids and I are going, limbo land is stressing us out too much and we all want to be back together asap. So.....we've picked a date in early Jan and we're going with that! Here's hoping we can get everything organised by then...oh, and find a house to move to. That would be most helpful. So looks like another 7-8 weeks BUT DH has holidays over xmas so probably only actually 5 or so on my own.
One other thing I need to get off my chest (ahem...pardon the pun)...my nipples are KILLING.ME!!! Feeding D atm is a nightmare and I am beginning to dread every feed. I have no idea what's going on. It has happened before, randomly and then settles and goes away but this has been going on for about a week now. I'm talking toe curling, like a newborn baby with nipple damage kinda pain! It's both sides and I've checked a few times and can't see any actual damage on either side and his attachment is same as always :dunno: Anyway, just one of those weird things that I'm sure will pass but had to have a whinge in here cause I know I can without getting any of 'those' comments
Best be off, going to bed and hoping for a good night sleep tonight. D has been sick (yes, again) and we're on about day 8 now and on the mend so here's hoping.....

Hello my lovelies!!! I am so glad we have this corner....gosh, when I think about how long we've been chatting, it's a long time.
Anna, I love fb, but I really hate when that sort of thing happens. I'm sorry your friend isn't more understanding, unfortunately, some people are as dumb as doggie doo, and insensitive to boot. This is a really hard time you're going through, be kind to yourself xoxo
Jayne, I am soooo loving hearing about your adventures!!!
Missing you on fb, so glad we have you in here. You go girl on the weight loss, that's awesome. What a freaking legend!
Amanda, you have hung in there so well babe. I bet you can't wait for your 'work' next week! You deserve it! Lol, I'd just be taking Flynn out too. I can't believe he's almost one! Where did that go?
Willow, that is awesome news babe. I must have missed something, is your dh already up there?? ETA what do you think it is with your nipples? Possible thrush? Vasospasm? Hormonal changes? Doesn't sound like fun :(
Mako, hope your belly button is okay hun, doesn't sound great. Good on you doing the baby visit, that can be sooo hard
Bek, I'm so jealous of your holiday!!! Make sure you tell us all about it.
Michelle, DH is popping in to Marrickville tomorrow, I wish I was going!!! Thinking of you lots. Oooh, and I've got skype set up now, we need to chat :D Thinking of you lots, hope the kids are being perfect angels.
Kelly, your babymoon is sounding amazing!! I'm so happy for you! I already text you, hope we can catch up soon. I just wanted to leave you to it while you were having special family time :)

I'm ok guys. Just a little lost for words ATM. Nothing in particular that I can put my finger on. I'm just taking a step back. Don't worry I'm not walking away.

Spring -
Janie - Well on closer inspection in the shower this morning there IS some damage on both sides :( Pretty sure it's where his top teeth are sitting against the nipple while he feeds so not sure what I can do about it....at least I know what's causing it now.
