Just a quick one here. Little people had a shocker last night so I am knackered. Hourly wake ups do not make mummy a happy camper.
Saw the endocrinologist - fasting BSL's are 5.8-6.2 (should be less than 5.0 ) so I am back on insulin at night and watching what I eat. Well, more than normal. Low GI is normal but the chocolate addiction has to go :( Daytime readings have been ok so I just need to go back to small, low GI meals more often. Oh yay - more food planning :wall: Low dose to start but that will change quickly - they have given the self medicator permission to self medicate and increase the dose daily
Anyway - 2 giggling little people in the dining room spells potential trouble for me when they are *supposed* to be eating dinner!!! I can only dream of an early night ........
P.S. Good to see you Jo  You know we will be here for you xx
-
Just back from the GP - definitely HF&M :wall:
Good news is though that the little Miss will be OK to start school on Monday. She only has it in her mouth which is a bit weird but she should be fine by Monday.
I just hope the little fella doesn't get it...his distracted feeding is frustrating enough as it is without a sore mouth. His big brother isn't feeding atm - has a few sucks and then cries 'sore mouth mummy, sore mouth' :(

sorry to crash
Just saying a woohoo to Janie for things settling down,
and
Thanks Michelle for the med info
and
hoping and sending a hug for Kelly for tomorrow. xx

Thanks Loula... I've been thinking of you and wondering how you were going but I can't bring myself to go back into the Bellybuddies thread. Would love an update though and hope all is still going ok. Take care.

WOOHOO Jo on a great DR appointment. Your GP sounds very caring which is great to see. All the best for Tuesday ;)
Willow BIG BIG  babe. I hope this passes very fast and all your babies are back to their usual happy selves
Michelle Oh hun sending you a  too. How did the little people go with their dinner? I hope there wasn't a huge huge mess to clean up after all the giggling going on lol.
Hi to you all. I better get going as I have an early start in the morning. Back to work for me :(
-
Mako - Hope work was ok today.
Willow - You poor thing.. I hope the kids are better soon.
Michelle - Hugs. Take care and I'm happy to eat even more crap to make up for the things you can't have right now!! I'm being VERY naughty!
Bonham - Glad to hear the appointment went well. Fingers crossed for the scan... surely we're gonna get some great news in here this time!!! Take care.
Janie - I think I'm going to try and get back to the zoo next week coz they were saying that the baby elephant should be 'on display' next week... so let me know if you're interested!
AFM - have had a very busy morning.. dropped DH off at work (so that I can go get him and go straight to our ob appointment together), then had to come home to grab a few things, then off to get the dog a kennel and outside bed, then to return something that was broken, then went to check out a daycare that have a vacancy (woo hoo... but it's so much more expensive that the others.. not happy but don't think we have a choice), then to the pool to finalise the enrollment for DS swimming lessons. Pfew. Exhausting but thankfully DS fell asleep in the car and is now sound asleep in bed. Finally some quiet time for me. Had a bit of a spat this morning with DH too.. i'm just really anxious about our ob appointment this morning and he wasn't helping with my stress levels!!!!! He's since appologised though so I can't complain.
Well... I think I'll try and eat some lunch and have a bit of a lie down on the couch.. although there's heaps of cleaning and ironing to do. I don't know why I'm so anxious about this appointment... I guess I was praying we wouldn't have to go down this track of trying to work out what's wrong. It's scary but hopefully we'll get some answers and the next pg will be a sticky one.

 Kelly. I'm thinking of you this afternoon(all day really lol) and am hoping like mad your Ob is able to give you some insight as to what is going on.
You sure have had a busy morning though. How many days are you looking at putting DS into daycare? I thought about sending DS one day a week this year too but have since changed my mind.
Work was ok but makes me cranky when my 8am class doesn't show yet again :wall: and then I had 2 classes where only 1 child turned up for those aswell. It makes me mad cos I think about the fact they are interfering with my time at home with DS especially the 8am class. Poor little chook being rushed around trying to get him some brekkie in his tum and out the door by 7:30am most Thursdays(luckily today my mum came here to look after him) so thats not as bad but the times where I have to drop him off GRRRR. Sorry thats my rant over with ;)
Oh and I told my boss about our last m/c. Not the details but the fact that I need next Friday off and it looks like she'll have to cover for me cos none of the other girls have responded to my message about working for me. She asked why I need the day off and I told her I'm seeing a specialist and she asked why and I told her cos I lost another baby. She just said oh sorry I asked  anyway no news on if she's pregnant yet though. I'm thinking she is but isn't telling just yet.
I went to my GP and now have my referral to Dr S. He's more than happy for me to see him even though he asked if I'd prefer to see someone local.I said I've heard great reports about this DR so would prefer to see what he has to say. So now I just have to sit back and wait for the appointments to roll around. Not too long to go now. One next Friday and the other 2 weeks today.
Better run and occupy DS. He's feral as he's only had 30 mins sleep instead of his 2.5 to 3 hours.
Hope everyone is ok.

Thanks Mako and great news about getting the referral. How annoying that noone turned up to your early classes... so frustrating!!
Well... had my ob appointment and my god... I'm so impressed with my ob and the staff. They were absolutely incredible.. worlds appart from my ob back in Perth. So the news is pretty good... i think. She did lots of testing at my first appointment, just in case things turned bad again... which I'm really happy about becuase we could go to this appointment with answers, not having to now go and get testing done. So all she could find was a particular antibody (ANA) or something like that.. it's all foreign to me. Anyway it's basically attacking my pg, thinking that something is wrong when in fact it might not be. So she's prescribed me a low level asprin to take as soon as I find out I'm pg again. She's also given me a list of vitamins to start taking and wants me to stay healthy... even said lots of massages are good... bonus!!!!
So I'm feeling like we're getting somewhere and need to just keep trying. I'm keen to start asap and she confirmed that there's no reason why we can't... I don't even have to wait for af.. so looks like we'll be getting back into it!!!!! I'm sure DH will be extremely happy about that - LOL. I'm a bit scared but at the same time, if this is going to keep happening, then the sooner we start again, the sooner we might find one that actually sticks. Bit different to the way I was thinking about it before but I think it's going to work for me... for now anyway.
Well.. better go, have to get the dog microchipped now... the damn council won't let me register him until he's microchipped, so off we go!

Thank you for asking. i of all ppl know the pain. i will be looking out for your news soon. x

Kelly, I'm so glad to hear that you have a plan. It really helps you to feel better, doesn't it? Not sure I'd be allowed to go wandering around the zoo ATM :( we'll see how things go tomorrow ;). Glad you're keeping busy, and having a nice time with Luke.
Michelle, WOOHOO for the second trimester! I know we're still on the countdown, but it's creeping up ;). Thinking of you often, I'm sorry I haven't been in touch
Lou, thinking of you lots too hun . I'm so glad things went well today, and that your Ob is so wonderful :D. Are you still up for catching up??? I have pressies for you LOL. Let's text!
Hi to everyone else, I promise I am reading all your news, and trying to keep up to date. Hugs for all those who need them, and smiles for all of those with happy news! I will be back tomorrow to post after my scan Ob/appt, or I will get someone to do it for me. Have a good feeling about things though, particularly the size of the baby thing :D.
-
Does that mean you are getting fat Janie ;)
-
Kelly: i'm so glad your appt went well and you have some answers and that you have a plan you sound much happier
Michelle: forgot to say YAY for 2nd trimester :D
Mako: what do you do for work?
-
Haha Michelle! No, not really, just feeling like bub has grown a little, and that s/he is quite active :). So even if small, if probably perfectly healthy :D
-
Kelly: I'm really happy to hear your appointment went well hun.. Sound like you've got a thorough and caring ob there.
Janie: Good luck for tomorrow's appointment babe. I hope you've got a chubby bubby there.
Mako: Sorry to hear your boss was less than sympathetic. I hope your appointment on Friday goes well.
Well I'm having a proud moment. DS has been interesting in TT for a while but we were having so many mistakes I just gave up for a while. We want to get him into daycare 1 day a week so he can be with other kids but he has to be TT to get into the room we want. So 3 days ago we said goodbye to the nappies. He has just been so great. Only one accident so far and we even got a poop in the potty today. He tells me 'I need to wee Mum' goes over to the potty and off he goes. I'm amazed. He is obviously still in nappies for sleeps and I suspect it will be for a while. He even went out to the shops with DH today with jocks on. I'm just so proud of him for getting it so quickly.

Hi ladies,
Kelly - you sound so good in your post, it's great you are feeling positive about your plan of attack and you have found a supportive Ob who is on the same page - especially one that orders plenty of massages!!! I'm training in massage, so can second that!
Spring - thats too cute, and I'm feeling proud for your DS too! I remember taking photos of my DS (now 10) in his first pair of jocks, proudly standing by the loo, he just looked so damm cute in size 2 jocks, too dear for words :p Go O, what a trooper! How's dear little B?????
Hi ladies - how's everyone doing - Michelle? Freya, did you find someone to take those two off your hands, or is all forgiven? Mako, hopefully things will improve on the work front - I don't know how you ladies juggle working and small kiddies, and take my hat off to you! Janie - good luck with your ob appointment tomorrow.
AFM - not a great deal to report, other than for those of you not on FB - my current status is: "just when you think you've seen it all................. the toddler poohs in the bath" lol...... ah the joys!
Lee xoxo
