    Hello!

Just wanted to pop in quickly to say hello. I'm trying to keep up but it's hard as we're staying at Mum's!! We're having such a lovely time back in Perth.. but DS has had a bit of trouble adjusting to the three hour time difference, so we've had some very early mornings. He's absolutely loving seeing all the family and our friends though, it's gorgeous.

Anyway just a quick selfish post.. I've had some pretty bad cramping this morning and it's freaking me out!! I'm absolutely scared stiff that something is going to go wrong again. Only two more days until my scan on Thursday and I can't wait.. but at the same time, I don't want to go... I can't handle the possibility of hearing bad news again. I just don't know what to do anymore and how the hell I'm supposed to get through this. I hate this so much.. it's not fair.. why do we have to go through this and why can't we just enjoy our pg. Noone should have to go through this. Oh god... I'm extremely emotional today.. maybe that's a good sign.

So sorry.. rant over.. I think I really needed to get that out.. have been holding quite a lot in this time while *trying* to be positive. It's so hard.

Sorry guys... none of you need this right now.

    Kel xxx

Sorry for a selfish post from me, but I am being induced tomorrow! Freaking out a little here. I had an OB appointment this morning and my BP is right up, just like it did at around this stage with DD so he thinks it best to get the bub out. I am really not feeling right today so it didn't really surprise me. I am 2cm dilated so he will be able to break my waters and will then give me a few hours to go into labour on my own before he starts the drip. I am much happier with this plan than what happened last time - my OB then insisted that my waters be broken and the drip turned up sooooo high right from the outset and my labour was so full on from the beginning. I am hoping it may start a little more naturally this time. I have been getting a lot of pains since my appointment too, not sure if maybe he did a stretch and sweep or something as well? Anyway, I am supposed to be resting (as if you can do that when you have just found out you are being induced the next day!) but still have so much to do to prepare for this bub. Thankfully DD's babysitters are on their way home from hols right now so that worked out well!

I will probably be back online later as I am too restless to snooze even though I should while DD is sleeping.

Bun- How exciting!! I wish you all the best for tomorrow.

Mako - Hugs hin. I hope you and your DH get some sort of resolve with the direction you are going to take with TTC again.

Kelly - Good luck for Thursday

Lisa - have you been rushing around too much? Drink heaps of water, try and relax with your feet up. Are you getting muslce cramps? I found my BH got bad when I got muscle cramps so I took some extra magniesium. This worked a treat

Janie - Thanks for mentioning our 6 month bfing achievment. I serioulsy couln't have done it without everyone in here. Thanks everyone mwah!!!

I know this is a long time away but we are having a big family Christmas in Sydney in 2011 and I plan on meeting all the Sydney girls if possible!!!! I hope some of you are around at that time lol.

Miss Eva was 6 months the other day and I can't believe how fast the time has flown. I guess now is the time to start off loading my newborn stuff. Although maybe I should keep some stuff in case a baby boy comes my way one day.

For those who have older kidies: Did you notice a certain attitude change once your child turned 4? We are having a lot of issues with Miss Sara. She is so bossy and won't share or listen to me but at the same time she breaks down and cries and slams her bedroom door if she gets into the slightest bit of trouble.

Life at home is really full on atm for me, I do lurk often but I don't get much of a chance to post

You've just described our DD Bek!! She's just turned 5 and not much has changed. I can handle it but it drives DH bonkers!!

Michelle/Kelly/Lisa - Best of luck with your appts. You forget how scary this stuff is when you're not prg yourself any more. You are all in my thoughts.

Bun - was very excited to read your post!!!! I've been in your boat a few times now, knowing you are going to be induced next day!!! Don't think you will sleep much tonight!! Don't let them wack you straight on a drip - there's every chance you won't need it and only need a kick start to labour away on your own. I've had both, and things are much better without too much intervention. With my DD last year, all I needed at 37 weeks was the gel at midday, my own body kicked in and she was born at 9pm. With Flynn, had the gel at 8.30am, waters broken 2pm, but my labour was very stop start - very happy with my Ob who is anti-too much intervention - by 9pm I was put on a very low dose drip, just to help me along, and my little man popped out at 11.30pm. So, point is, let your own body do what it does before bombarding it - hope you don't mind me saying so, it's just the drip on full steam is too overwhelming and painful. Your body, your choice, remember.

Hope you are feeling more 'organised' now. Order a take out and put your feet up - a brand new roller coaster ride starts tomorrow!!! I wish you a beautiful labour, and will be thinking of you as you meet the new man in your life - a son is such a beautiful thing.

Hi to all the rest of you lovely girls!!

AFM - Flynn is doing a 'bit' better on the boob - actually sucking a bit harder if only for the first 1-2 minutes - which is something, and a start of hopefully better things to come. I just had my 6 week Ob appointment - my BP is still high, despite being put on BP tablets 2 weeks ago by the GP, and my feet are still really sore and swollen. OB said it's just the hotter weather - but I know it's more than that. Blood test came back normal, wish it would settle as my feet are really sore. Now I'm discussing birth control - can any of you give me the good/bad/ugly about mirena's? This was the Ob's recommended method - I've had an IUD before but it fell out

Best go, DD is here and I smell poo

Hi ladies - yes Bek i have been in a rush lately, so much on until the end of Jan!! Ive also been drinking lots of water so im hoping its just that I need some rest.

On the up side - OB is very happy with me, bub is doing great, me going great guns in terms of BP etc.. bubs head was down for today's appt and she wasnt very concerned about the BH's - she said pretty much the same thing about rest and getting enough fluid.

Will be eagerly watching out for a Bun BA tomorrow - good luck sweety
