Unhappy So devastating *contains upsetting information*

Another warning about toddler safety from me unfortunately

Last night a little boy from DD2's childcare and part of DD1's school family was hit by a car and passed away this morning. He was with his family and ran off out of the school gate straight onto a very busy main road. He was only 4.

My heart goes out to his poor family, his mum who was with him and the driver who hit him. RIP little man.

Please remember to keep hold of your children around roads and drill the road safety aspect until you are blue in the face. It only takes a split second and they are gone.

My thoughts are with the family, the driver and their family, and with your community Nai

My heart goes out to the family, those involved, anybody who witnessed it and the emergency services crew who had to deal with it.

Fly free little man, dance with the angels.

Huge hugs to you and your DDs.

    Oh how terrible!

I am going to be speaking with the boys school on monday to be asking a reminder be put in the news letter about road safety. On Friday I had a bunch of yr 7/8 kids dart across the road on a round about at the school. I was approaching & came to a stop. When it was safe to go, I started just as another boy darted out. I had to break sharply & he just looked at me as ran out past the car laughing! I almost go out to chase him down & thump him one. The bloody idiot.
PLUS I see so so so many kids that are not wearing seatbelts around that school it makes me sick.

Nai... It makes you realise that even at 40km it can be too fast!! I really hope the car was only doing 40km!!!!!!

The funeral for little Bram was held today and it was just heartbreaking. His mum spoke about his life and the joy he had brought to their family. I still can't stop crying - she was so brave and strong.

RIP Bram - a little golden angel gone too soon.
