That is so sad It can happen so easily, can't it? Just last weekend my 4yo DS was chasing a balloon at a party in a park an there was a car backing out from a driveway across the road from the park. I would like to think that DS would have stopped at the road anyway without a heap of us yelling at him to stop and running to grab him, but you just never know.

My thoughts are with everyone touched by the loss

The Man told me about this tragedy as he was driving the kids and I to the local festival to be in the parade with child care. I couldn't believe it. I thought about it the whole time that we were standing on the road waiting for the parade to begin.

My deepest condolences for everyone around this little darling.

My heart breaks for his family and BIG to you

It is SO important to teach our littlies the importance of road safety and we should NEVER take our eyes off them

    How terrible

I always get that feeling of panic when I see a little one near a road without their parents holding their hand.

    RIP little one.
