DS1 shocked us as well when he went into a big bed at 25 months as we had 5 - 7 nights of him going to bed no problem, he then obviously realised he could get out (had been getting up in morning and coming down) and then we had a few weeks of him being really hard and having to put him back to bed many many times!!!
