just wanted to let you know my Dh didn't really bond with our babies til about aawww 8 or 9 months old. He loved them and did all that was required but really only bonded fully once they were older and he could interact more fully with them... it was really once they went on the bottle.
The emergence of their personality and the baby starting to show interest in daddy also helped things along.
As a mum who bonded immediately with DD, I really ached to see DH and DD have that same relationship and was worried... but she's just turned 1 and talk about smitten daddy! He just spent several minutes tonight telling me how cute her bottom was because it "wobbles like three times per cheek" when she was toddling about after her shower lol.
so i think your plan sounds really good. it will happen in its own time. hugs hun ox
