    Great thread OP.
Many years ago when I was struggling with the start of my anxiety I started to do this, and often revert to it when I can feel a slide.

Mine today is seeing mh DH tonight, even if it was only for half an hour (sounds weird but he works away at a bush station and I never know when we'll get to see him apart from 6weekly planned leave). And the fact that that half hour was after the kids were asleep so it was uninterrupted. With two sick kids today it certainly was an unexpected joy.

Nice thread. Yesterday for me it was DS watching a DVD on my bed and me beside him reading a book, both of us snuggled under the doona. DS saying "this is sooo nice mummy".

Great thread! Mine today was when my DS pulled me by the hand & led me into our loungeroom. He sat us down in front of a large picture window & we looked outside at the birdies

    Great thread!

My moment so far today is listening to my DD ask for more orange...the way she says orange is just so darn cute...and I can't replicate it if I try! lol. Oh, and eating yummy lemon creme yoghurt that tastes like lemon meringue!

    Great post! x

My moment right now, my DS 4years and my DD 2 years, both sitting down with my niece doing craft. Quiet and content
Later it will be hectic before dinner time, but enjoyable again as Wednesday nights are mine and my DH night out.

I think every parent needs a balance of enjoyable moments to go with those terrible moments

today: when dd2 (4 weeks old) woke up from her sleep and DD1 was so excitied, dancing and singing ''babys awake, quick mummy'' she then chatted to baby for ages, ''your so cute, look at big sisters toys, etc etc'' and kissing her on the face, and making DD2 smile!!! magic!

it's nice to think about the positives of it all, sometimes i think people get too busy and too frustrated with just making it 'work.' lovely thread idea!

today, i went for a bush walk with the kids. haven't been in aaaaaaaaages, and they had a lovely time. was nice to get out of the house with them as well, and just do something that doesn't involve me begging them to be good and getting stressed, etc....
